Hey guys, I want to get started in this whole PUA thing, so I came up with my own personal neg-opener. But I was wondering if you guys can tell me if it is good or not?

"Hey, I want to ask you something, don't worry, I'm not going to hit on you, I only hit on girls that are shorter than me." Then, you immediately jump into the question you want to ask.

I'm 5'6, so most girls are usually taller than me. This opens the target, and at the same time, it negs the target. To me, it sounds good, especially if delivered right. What do you think?

First off, you start by Hey!, Thats good!

The dont worry im not gonna hit on you part is not good though. It telegraphs a sexual interest that you make an obvious effort to hide and fails. It shows lower value, you apologize although you have not done anything wrong, you give her a higher value.

I only hit on girls that are shorter than me... Thats not gonna work until you are in A2. If she asks, then that might work as a comeback but as it is, you telegraph interest again since she didnt bring it up. It is a bit too much to neg her about her being tall. A good neg is an offhand comment on something that she is able to do something about. Being tall is always gonna be a problem for her...

A better opener for a tall girl would be:
Hey!I lost my friend, can you see him from up there? Hes about my height and hes wearing a ring from mordor. You ARE working here right?

ha ha ha ha ha if i wasn't 6'3, i'd totally use that .

lol, but he is right tho, it'll probably make her whip out her " having a boyfriend" as either a defence from possible insult or your early "neg"

I used a neg as an opener, because in Mystery's book, he said you can open hot girls with a neg if you want.

That I would recommend only for SHBs! Really hot girls from another dimension!

You could get into trouble for overnegging.

The only way to know whether something works is to try it.

I've tried somethings that I thought would fall flat, but surprisingly they worked over and over reliably.

So try this about 30 or 40 times and then decide whether it works.

see, i think this is a great joke to use during game, but not for the intro. i could see this as a great reply to a possible shit test that'd be thrown at you during game. for example, "are you trying to get in my pants or something?!?!?".
