Okay, I need your expert opinion on a matter that happened recently.

For the fall semester, I sat next to HB8. I started talking to her and tease her a bit. For class our prof told us to make some new friends and to jot down their contact number. The first person I approach, HB8. Anyhow I talked to her a few days later and told her, I totally don't get the assignment. I'm going to give you a call sometime. 2 Days later I tried to send her a text. I tried to use the alien opener along with something that I added along with ill bet you a box of oreos that you don't know who this is.

Long story short, I get a text back saying who is this followed by a call that interrupted my workout. (Literally while I was in the middle of a set) I picked up the phone sorta shaken because I was in the middle of something. Anyhow she asked who is this? I replied. I told her I would call her back. Instead of calling her I sent a text saying I win, wheres my box of cookies. I got no reply.

Im just wondering if this sounds like a case of someone whos not intrested or did I already mess up somehow? let me know what you guys think.

in my opinion the fact that you didnt tell her who you are would have come off quite creepy, in a stalkerish kind of way. I would have said "Hey (Girls name) it's (your name) from (the class we share), Kinda busy right now, i'll call ya back." Then i would have called back a few minutes later "Hey you owe me a box of cookies haha, so did you have any idea at all who this was?"

i did tell her who I was when she called. I just told her I couldnt talk because I was busy.

So you think I should have told her straight from the beginning hey this is _______ from ________?

It was weird because I think I got her attention. She texted back saying who is this and the called minutes later asking who is this.

just an update. I called her yesterday and no one picked up no reply. Thats not a good sign at all.

Im wondering what I should say when I have class with her monday afternoon. Any ideas guys? Perhaps I should ignore the fact that I called her or neg her on how shes such a princess that she doesnt even pick up her phone?

cellarman, didn't she have you number already in her phone,( from exchanging it in class)- i.e didn't your number come up on her phone when u txt, her?

anyway, one option is maybe turn it into a joke(that when wrong) next time your in class/convo.
