Wearing a Bluetooth makes you look important and that you have a social life, also it makes you look cool.

I could not disagree more. I think that it makes you look too lazy to pick up your phone.

It also makes you look like a crazy bum when you're speaking into thin air while your hands are completely free.

bluetooths are only allowed IF you are doing a two handed job, tradesman etc. or drive a truck

if you wear one just walking down the street you need to be 300 Ibs, have really bad dress sense and crazy hair to be able to pull off the "the bluetooth makes me look cooler" look !

only time I use one is when I'm on my bike. And its only there to provide music (its a bluetooth headphone headset) and so I can use my phone should I need it. As far as blackberrys go, I love mine. I actually use the whole email system and I text a lot so it is quite useful. Plus, girls love to play with it haha

Yeah man, I feel the same way with my iPhone. Girls eat that thing up. They are always like "Let me play with it" (which brings me to a thought - I need to make a new post about *writes a note down on the notebook beside me) but anyway. Bluetooth headset is alright in my line of work (I think?) I am a computer service technician, own my business and everything and it's just really damn inconvenient to have to hold a phone and work on the computers at the same time. I'm usually in khaki's and a button up shirt tucked in with a leather belt and leather dress shoes with the thing on though. It just... fits. It's part of the businessman persona in my opinion. Wouldn't depend on it as a peacocking item though, that's for sure.

if you're working , driving a car, typing on a computer... bluetooth is ok.. part of my day too...

if you're out.. especially at a club and it's on for the purpose of 'peacocking' you go straight in the try hard and douche bag categories...
