Wow, you worry too much. Just put out your hand and tell her to come dance. If she says no, then she can go home and finger herself that night. How is that your problem?

the problem is I have been denied to dance with twice in the matter of 4 or 5 parties.

I lose some confidence when they say no so i wanted to find out a clever reply to give a boost of confidence and maybe even change her mind

Go up and say in a loud voice ( just enough she can hear you) say "wow it looks like a damn 8th grade dance,no one is dancing" then smile at her and go dance by yourself and make it look good. You will get watched by alot of woman who actually may start dancing closer to you or just come up to you.I

If they say no then say "Oh so you must not get out that much then huh?"then walk away...Move on to another and so on don't let a no slow you down man...Be CONFIDENT! Quit thinking they are going to say no before you approach they sence that shit man...

Don't ask her if she wants to dance: take her hands, lift her from the sofa and dance.
If she's ok, you're good to go.
If she yells "NO!", more often than not she'll start laughing and dance anyway.
If she tries to get away, keep holding her hands, pull her away from where she was, force her to stand if not dancing for some 10 (seems a short time? it's not. nobody remembers how long something lasts, they just need to get the image in their mind), while you laugh HARD and bust the moves, then sit her down, turn to the other chicks and ask who wants to be next.
If nobody stands at this point, the party you're at really does suck, so just go back to the beer pong table and have fun with the boys.

edit: just one thing - when i say "hold her hands" and "force her to stand" i'm not sayin you should be rude, uh. just hold her gently but firmly.

make sure you have some semblance of rhythm, no girls want to dance with you if your sportin the Pee Wee Herman moves. Dancing is about having fun, not about impressing girls, (although that comes through good dancing.)
Just practice in your room, and if all else fails, take some shots of liquid courage and start moving, it never fails.

yeah, she could say no, and you could get hit by a damn bus when you walk out onto the street tommorow morning. unless you're asking a girl who knows you or your friends, there's not harm/ so try it, if she says no, think about it with a clear head, without getting flustered. did you come off as creepy or as if you were only into her for her looks? did you have a good conversation before? do you even know each others names? look at what could be wrong from her perspective from every angle.

you gotta make her want you before you let her know you want her, and alot of girls take "do you want to dance?" as "hey i'd like to shove my tongue down your throat."

That's because you ASKED. You need to assume she wants to dance with you and just fucking tell her to. You would only ask if you were unsure about it, right? And if she still says no, words will not change her mind. Just say 'whatever' and move along. Remember it's her loss, not yours.

It sounds like you are the very hesitant guy, shy and the fear of rejection is very high....
Generally if i want to dance with a HB then i just go up to them, take their hands and dance with them.
I recommend that if you do not like the way you dance do what Gambler did..... do 4 Salsa lessons, then you can ask the girl "do you salsa" :)

Well I went on vacation a couple of day ago in Bermuda and there was this nightly teen dance thing. So two guys did get rejected (rather the ones who didn't have the right attitude about it). I'll tell you the truth that at first I was scared to go dance. "what if everyone sees me get rejected?" "I don't know anyone's name here..." "I'm not ready" Thoughts like these ran through my mind. I refused to let these thoughts linger and just dived in. So I said to one girl "Let's dance" Notice how there is no question mark there (you gotta be smiling and relaxed when you're doing it). Now I could see that her and her friend were debating if they should dance with me. "I'm suprised at you" was all I said because I could tell I needed to give them a lil push. So anyway I ended uo grinding with one in the back and 1 in the front (the 1 in the front was hotter of the 2). So the moral is to stay positive and just have fun with it (remeber whats the point of trying to pick up when you're not enjoying yourself). Oh and this is coming from a high school sophmore. As a side note don't be scared because even if they reject you gotta keep rolling.

i would imitate them answering and poke fun at them.... like say...... in a whiny falsetto voice..... '' No, im shy, and im boring....''(say with a smile on your face...) and then just hold out your hand and your mindset has to be, why would she reject me for?, all i want is to dance.....! i didnt ask for her hand in marriage! if she's not adventurous enough to even dance she's not my type of girl anyway, regardless of how hot she is....! then laugh it off and go get someone else bro, just keep good energy and a good vibe and girls will want to dance with you....

thanks for the advice guys, I just grabbed girls and told them we are dancing. It worked 50% of the time.

The annoying part is I see girls dancing with other girls or by themselves and they still say no to me. It pisses me off

nothing puts my confidence down anymore tho, but its just annoying
