Now i know this forum isn't loaded with hair stylists but...

I have really thick white person hair that isn't too fond of humidity. Anytime I try to gel it a lil bit a style it, the humidity just kills it and it ends up looking like a rat's nest. Aaaand I live in Florida where it is 90% humidity nearly year-round.

Any suggestions for products out there, be it gel, shampoo, whatever, that will tame my hair?

How long is your hair? Have you thought about having it relaxed. I have extremely curly hair, that is absolutely impossible to manage, especially when its hot and humid. So i get it straightened/relaxed. Its much better and more manageable. A good stylist could probably do it for $50, or you could just talk to a female friend and im sure they could do it for you.

Have you thought about what you might look like with extremely short hair? My hair is pretty annoying when it is longer than 1.5 inches. I try to keep it short and get it cut with some sort of frequency....

I dont want to quote The Game with any frequency (quoted it / referenced it in about the last 3/5 of my posts), but... didnt style shave his head due to issues with his hair? Seemed to work out well for him.

I really ought to read The Game again. I read it about 6 months ago and i try to reference it, but I probably misrepresent everything inside it.

im 17 and don't have a job right now. i've considered getting a buzz, but i've got a slight slanted forehead and somewhat hard features i don't think it would look good on me (if i worked out a lot, i could go for the badass dude look and could probably pull it off, but i don't work out). i try to keep it around an inch and a half to two inches on top so i can style it a lot of different ways, but it never does what i want it to. It also is a lil bit wavy, but by no means curly.

does that help any?

i think the best route for me to take right now is to keep it really short because it's inexpensive and easy to maintain.

thanks for your opinions guys.

Sup? My suggustion is to cut your won hair. This is what I do and it takes practice. Why go to the fucking barber to get it cut when you can do a knock out job and I advice you not to get your damn hair cut by a weed wacker. LOL!

Also, you may want to get a job because as we all know job+money=gf. LOL!

If you have a good work history then it wouldn't be much of a prob to get a job-plus interview skills are needed to land that job. But, now we're focusing o your hair--what you can do is look at some magazine's and possible look in the mirror and visualize what you'll look in the mirror with that hair cut. If it's a buzz or a crew cut plus your face fits the look. If you have a pumpkin face then maybe long hair would look good. If you have a tough face structure then it's possible a crew cut would look good. Hobbit's hair looks fantastic and sooo sexy--LOL! Just kidding Hobbit but you do look good in the afro kinda style.

Also, if you think you're hair is trimmed and not like a stoner then you should try to straighten it out with straighten cream-gel it and maybe use a blow drying on cool to prevent.

I'm not a hair stylist but I know good looking hair to a woman is the most important thing, plus the shoes.
