Hey, I have this little problem. There is girl I'm gaming in my base-set (group of friends I go out with in beginning of evening, and then move around and make new friends in new sets. Actually, the easiest way to meet people is to use mutual friend - works great in small cities!). I get IOI's and so on all the time. But there is this girl, who is just used to be center of attention. And she is over-possessive, so much she won't let me just talk to the target. 4xmpl, this night we were dancing and since I was only male in set who knows how to dance (BIG DHV IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DANCE), my feet were moving all the time. I danced with one female friend. And another. And another. Then I take the obstacle and dance with her. But then she wouldn't let me dance with target! And these problems with this particular obstacle happen all the time. She was leader of the group before I showed up. And she expects the set to spin around her all the time.

Simply, my question; How do you disarm over-protective and/or leader of the group obstacle? ANY comment greatly appreciated, I am trying to figure this out for a long, long time.

you could try sending very obvious IOIs towards your topic while engaging with the obstacle to the point that the obstacle can tell, so that you aren't out right blowing your obstacle off while still working towards your topic. Basically leave it unsaid, but make sure the topic knows you aren't her primary.

No the whole point of gaming the target, is that she doesn't know that she's being hit on. If you make it obvious, the bitch shields will go up, thus undoing the work that you've done with the group, and leading you back to square one.

I suggest that you try harder at trying to become the prize of the group, and try to de-throne the queen bee of the group.

You can try doing this in two stages, isolate your target and the queen bee from the group. Reducing the #'s in the set, maybe a little easier to work the target. If you're getting the vibe, that the queen bee's over protective of the target, perhaps their good friends. Then you maybe able to run the best friend's routine, lowering the bitch shield of the queen bee. From here, you may be able to isolate the target away from the queen bee, and hey presto you're alone with the target?

if the Leader girl looks good dont fight it. If the girl you(target) was really interested in you she'll still like you. You said Leader girl was blocking you
