There is this HB10 that I've been dreaming about and who is out of my league. Ive been talking to her on Facebook and feel pretty comfortable talking to her. I don't have a problem with approaching, just have a problem with opening to her and keeping the conversation interesting. I am going to see her at the school dance on Saturday. Theres some questions I need answered by you guys so please help me out! I need a gameplan.

1. How should I approach her? What should I open with?
2. What can I say to keep the conversation rolling interesting?
3. How do I approach her to dance?
and last but not least.
4. How can I do all this but still seem like myself.

WRONG. No such thing as leagues. She's a girl, you're a guy, you go inside her. End of story.

You already know her and talk to her in person, right? Just go say hi and ask what she's been up to, same as if she were one of your guy friends... it's not a challenge.

Just talk... the pressure is on her, not you. If you run out of things to say, just look her in the eyes and smile. She'll be the one worrying about what to say, not you. It's amazing the crap they come up with to get the conversation going again. Hell, you can just be honest and tell her you've run out of things to say and use that as an excuse to go dance. As for what to talk about, it's all around you. Comment on what she's wearing, neg her a little if you want - say it doesn't do much for her complexion but it's still really cute, something like that. Ask where she got it from, then you can tell a story about something funny that happened near that store or something you heard about it, maybe someone you know works there or some shit, just use your brain... you do this all the time with friends and family, you talk about situational stuff and it goes on to other stuff, and the conversation just flows through different subjects and stories and memories. As long as you're comfortable and don't worry about what to talk about or what to do if you run out of stuff to say you'll be fine.

Just give her your hand and smile, then say "Hey come on, we're gonna go dance.". Pretty simple really. Doesn't matter if you're still in the middle of a conversation or if you approach her after leaving her for a while to talk to other people (which I recommend you do, that way you don't look like you're depending too heavily on her company).

You still will be yourself... just a better self than she might be used to, that's all.

Same stuff applies. Instead of saying hi, say "hey, you're that girl who hangs about with ___". The rest stays exactly the same.

High school doesn't really make sense. It never has and it never will. It's a shit show where anything goes.

So here's what you're going to do:

1)Turn off your brain - you don't need to be thinking at this thing. Overanalyzing is going to be your worst enemy.

2) Go look in the mirror and say shit to yourself that pumps you up. Believe that shit man. It matters

3) Do not reflect on anything you do whatsoever during the night (extension of #1)

4) When you dance do it because you're trying to have a fucking really good time. Don't give a shit about who is watching, this girl included.

5) Don't ask her if she wants to dance. If you're friends with any of her friends then just go start dancing. DO NOT talk when you're dancing with them. Just dance and have a good time. Keep your eyes and chin up.

6) Above all else remember that in a few years no one is going to give a fuck about what just happened that night. Seriously. You'll go to college and then in a few years from that no one will give a fuck about what happened in college. Then you'll realize that in general nobody gives a fuck for too long. It works in your favor.

Remember martha stewart? She's out baking cookies and shit again and people love her inside-trading ass.

Go punch a punching bag or do some pushups before you go to get pumped and get your adrenaline going. Confidence = power.
