I think about it this way: A nice guy is FAKE as shit! When something bothers him or a girl says something stupid/annoying, he just shuts his mouth or gives a big smile instead of being a man and saying what he really feels.
I know because I used to be a nice guy. I can honestly say I was completely fake, I would avoid confrontation instead of saying what I believed.
SO, maybe you've CHANGED, but in reality, you are actually more YOURSELF by learning to be a PUA. I personally have CHANGED, but I changed from a fake person to my true, fun, crazy personality. I no longer care what a hot piece of ass thinks, that will never stop me from being cocky/funny, ect.
If someone ever told me I have changed, I would actually explain to them what I just said and I would ask them, aren't they happy that I'm now my true self and not some loser worried about avoiding confrontation and sticking to societal norms.
If they had a problem with that I'd say fuck you and I wouldn't talk to them again. We are men, we don't have time for bullshit like people who can't deal with our self-improvement.
I completely agree with the nice guy comment. I used to be a "nice guy". I'm still a good guy, but I'm not nice unless chicks earn it (besides, from my experience they kinda like being negged and treated like a brat).
Here's an example: I met up with my buddy and his girlfriend tonight (which i've never met before). She brought a friend and we went bowling. I did some negging, used his gf as a pivot and even ran the 5 questions game on the friend she bought. I think this chick seriously might've been a lesbian. There's no way she likes dudes! 0 sense of humor, 0 social skills and only an hb6 at best. (plus she smokes which i think is gross)
Anyway I left a little early because i had a lot of hw to do and i was getting bitch vibes from her very genine garofalo-esque friend. My buddy's girlfriend was talking to me before I left and I said this " Your friend is a bitch. (pause and smile) The next time you want to hang with me you better bring a friend that's not a bitch."
In the past I would've blamed myself for her friend's coldness and I would've been polite about it. I'd say "ooh i'm just gonna go home. I'm tired and I got stuff to do...". To my surprise she agreed with me and said, "yeah she is kind of a bitch huh?". She thought it was damn hilarious.
Nice guy = doormat. Thanks to all of you for being a part of this community and to Style for writing about it!
