So this isnt a question - but I'm too new to post in the PUA Lounge. Anyway, here it goes...
So i met up with Riften in downtown Vancouver and after a brief discussion on where we both stood (we're both new to this and had considerable differences in our strengths and so forth). However, Riften got into his 'benign' openers, by which i mean they were generic questions that could be posed to anyone w/o fear of causing an awkward situation (these range from simple directions, to noticing something unique about the person and so forth), we started busting them out on some chicks in the mall's food court.
At this point there was nothing to brag about, we got into a few conversations, but nothing impressive. On the street however, we started to get into the zone. I number closed this Korean chick who didnt speak much English (i dont take much pride in this, foreigners always are excited to meet locals.. specially if they can learn a language out of it). However, the important thing here was that she became into both of us when i was able to relate to Korean culture (i lived with two Korean women for some time); i asked about a korean card game and her eyes just LIT right up.
Riften and I walked around a bit more and chatted up more women. Again, not much to brag about, but i was happy. Cold approaching, or random approaches have always been something i 'wanted' to do, but lacked the balls to pull off with any sort of consistency. This has changed. It's so damn easy.. i almost dont know what was holding me back before.
I guess the point of this post is to 1. encourage someone to get out there and start 'opening' women and 2. state it more formally within this forum that Riften and I will be cruising the streets of Vancouver with some sort of regularity, so join up with us if you want.
Given the little success that Riften and I had i wouldnt say im a PUA by any means, but im also not an AFC anymore.. maybe just an AF... im definitely not a chump
. I feel like i have a billion more things to say, but given i need to get going i cant do it now... this is already a long post anyway.
