Recently at school, as I was walking across the canteen, one of my female friends stopped me abruptly and said I looked very cute (with a smile). There were no one around us and she is an HB9. (Tho we r friends, we're not that close as friends...so there's still a hope of us hooking up.)

I wanted to reply to that with something funny and playful/teasing but my mind just went blank.

Any possible replies?

You can brush it off like you hear it all the time, but you MUSN'T get over-reactive with it. matter a fact, don't react to it. take it as a casual compliment, give a casual response.
I would then create an "akward" pause (3 seconds) to build (sexual) tension look in her eyes with those eyes saying "i know what you thinkin" & read her (to she if she wanna kiss, if she's attracted, if she's relaxed) and go in for a kiss!

if you not getting the signs, re-establish conversation & continue!
