I have noticed that some women talk to guys they like in a kinda immature baby like voice. I understand its an IOI, but i dont quite understand the psychology of it. Why do chicks do it?

There can be many reasons...
Often times, (this is kinda fucked up) its because they were molested as a kid.
Reason being is that its like their innocence has been taken away at such a young age that they struggle with the pain the rest of their life. Their voice never matures.

Its not always the case... but for many women it is. Also they could have been the youngest in the family and the family always treated them like a baby.

What I am talking about is when they have the high pitched voice and kinda talk like a baby 24/7. Not just every once in a while, cute baby talk. Its all psychological.

This is the way I understood it. If a girl is molested at say, 8 years old, its like time has almost stopped for her. She keeps growing and maturing but often times her voice stays really high pitched, like a mouse. The baby voice is almost like a wall they put up to hide their pain.

I didnt say for every female out there. As fucked up as it is, several women are molested, but you will never know it. They may not even remember. Sexual assault/molestation on women happens more often than you would think. It isn't reported because its like a family secret or the person/kid feels ashamed that they did something wrong even though it was something they had no control over. Its becomes repressed especially if those feelings of shame are not dealt with. Some women become sluts and have kids at 15 years old, some cutters, some suicidal. Several keep that baby-girl voice. Its cute, i know, but its a way of hiding their repressed memories of their abusive childhood. Again, I am not saying its every female out there... but its several.

All valid reasons. IMHO, it could be that they are cute, they know it, and they get come on to a lot. Could be a defense mechanism, like a bitch shield, only it's a "little girl" shield. "What adult male wants to hook up with a little girl" could very well be the thought that goes through their minds.
Maybe, sometimes, the girl is just an immature idiot. Not always, though. It takes all types. We run into all types and sarge all types. Experience is the only way to truly answer this question truthfully.

I cast my vote for the being cute. I mean, if the occasional baby talk would be a sign of childhood molestation, pretty much every mother in this world would've been molested when they were young. Women use the baby talk with babies, cute animals.. and at a certain point, with men. Its a way of showing affection and trying to be cute (hell, go watch some animations / family movies, the cuter the figure, the more likely it will talk in a babytalk kinda voice)

I'm not getting into the matter of molested women, cause in the end they are just a small fraction of the women out there.
