Through my experiences I've learned you can have on the craziest peacocking shirt, jeans, hat, shoes or whatever its still no substitute for being buff, toned, ripped etc., ever notice the buff dudes in the club who can snag any girl in there he wants or witness girls come up and open them when he's not even trying. Or... hear girls talking about how whats his face has such a great body. I got fed up with not being that guy.

When I started i tried wearing crazy accessories and what not then I realized its not that important having a good body is. Now I'm not a big guy I'm more on skinny side. So i made it a goal to get Usher/Bruce Lee ripped I've been working out for the past 2 1/2 months. I experience about 2 weeks ago one the easiest pick ups ever at a bar this girl comes up on me feeling my abs to make the story short she liked what she saw and it was a done deal. Now i wasn't peacocking I had an express T-shirt some nice jeans nice boots just chillin.
Girls i know have taking notice to the fact I've been working out lately its great.

So to sum it up don't focus so much on peacocking just get buff

i think it shows when your healthier just in your face, you can tell if someones been eating healthier/working out. so i agree you should try and get toned, but that wont always elp when your dressed up....a lot of times its hard to notice someones body under their clothes, unless its very tight clothing. but having muscles gives the girls something to appreciate later when you seal the deal ;) haha

You can pretty much tell if someone's buff by looking no matter what they're wearing but your right about the tone part. Get your arms and chest big first u can always suck your gut in lol

You need to be at least athletic looking than anything else. Girls like guys like a body of the opposite sex that is in shape because it means your healthy looking and are more fit to reproduce.

Totally agree i always wanted to be "that" guy and was fed up hearing girls talk about some other dudes body i also recently started working out but only for about a month tho and have already started getting compliments about the body, to boost my progress i just got smaller t-shirts like some cheap graphic tees and what not and started wearing wife-beater tank tops all the time in different colors.

MY doctor told me working out also increases endorphins released in the body and it has boosted my confidence (mostly girl compliments have done that) as well or atleast what girls seem to see and think of me because (i already posted this) but a waitress gave me her number with seemingly no effort at all on my part lol

Keeo it up man, matter of fact im going to work out in the basement pronto lol

Work out guys it makes you happier, more confident, girls & guys notice, and even when it looks like your not getting bigger you ARE! I dont care what no one says having a pretty in shape body beats any approach . I'm skinny build but I made sure my abs are always solid and have been working on my upper body vigorously recently.

Girls like tight, muscular, toned, Abs, chests, buttocks, and arms...

anyone disagree?

The only people who could possibly disagree that having a well built body makes picking up chicks much more easy are the same people who think that looks don't really matter. Looks matter very much over any accessory or other useless apparel you may wear. Stating that looks are of low importance (some claim under 10%) is utter nonsense.

I myself workout and I can confirm that girls really appreciate a well built guy. It's very easy to look at the situation: we enjoy girls with sexy bodies, girls enjoy men with sexy bodies. Althought I agree that game is very important, more important than looks, it is ridiculous to see people stating that looks are barely important. Those posts seem to be targetted at insecure people who want to be reassured by veterans of the game in order to have hope. Instead, in my opinion, they should just start fixing whatever they can about themselves to look better. Fat? Jog/Diet. Skinny? Build muscle. You can improve everything about yourself, of that you can be sure.

You can get surprising results in 1-2 months if you are perseverant and strict with your regime. Discipline is needed to keep it up without quitting, but remember that you are doing this for yourself, not for others, and you will feel much better when you start seeing results, you will gain confidence among other things.

I believe I've already seen the link somewhere, but for those who still haven't been there, I would suggest you visit: http://www.iwantsixpackabs.com/home_my_story.html
It's a very good website which loads of useful help on getting in shape. I've used it and it has greatly helped me, so give it a try.

I recommend that everyone starts working out not only for looks, but more so for good health, which is the reason I started in the first place. Getting girls is just a bonus to the benefits that having a healthy body adds to your life.

Note: My post is more of a rant on the "looks don't matter stance" but I hope I helped a few guys with it.

Good to see people see it like I see it. U do feel more confident about yourself and your healthy. As far the looks don't matter its crutch ppl like to use and a excuse to be lazy...in some cases it doesn't matter about looks but why make yourself have to work that much harder just get in shape you'll appreciate it the girls will appreciate it too.

Example: Lets take 2 girls exact same great personality Girl #1 has average face or maybe a little below and a perfect 10 body C-cups/Booty vs Girl #2 she has perfect 10 face but she's flat in all areas and not that fit.

I personally will perfer girl#1 over girl# 2

The above example can be applied to the guys too

 Couldn't have put it better myself. Looks are a crutch people use all the time thinking they can pull girls based on their face. *Some* girls will put up with a guy who has a funky attitude but a good looking face, but only for a short time... even shorter a guy with a nice body, poor face, and a funky attitude... the guy that lasts the longest is the one with the good attitude and nice(not necessarily "nice") personality with something else going for him ex. body, face, whatever. I'm not saying girls don't take account to dudes looks its just they can only get you soo far without G-A-M-E, you have to know how to talk to them and have something going for yourself wether it be body, job, car, nice hair cut, i've even heard/seen a girl go out with a dude because she liked the way he laughed!! Thats the only thing she said he had going for him, but he also made her feel good and she had fun times with this guy, he dumped her and now hes out there pulling mad girls working his attributes .. you just need to work with what you got and excentuate the things that you like, girls compliment you on your smile being cute, make sure you smile more when you talk to girls and take care of your teeth, remember to stick with YOUR style and make one up yourself, always look clean and BE clean ya know keep a fit toned body you dont have to be ripped but just have muscles somewhere present in the key areas i mentioned before lol

sorry for ranting lol this is a good topic you got up here

Well, the whole existence of the PUA community somewhat revolves around the subject of being able to get laid, no matter who you are, and how ugly you look, just with practise.

And being buffed or should I say being able to get "buffed" is part of your natural look. Not all people are pshysical capable of getting muscular, and people who aren't will most likely be the one to researching the techniques, just take a look at Mystery and Style, they aren't in a superior athletic state neither, atleast from what I have seen.

Of course it is a plus to be buffed, but I wouldn't say it really have anything to do with the whole PUA thing, as being muscular sort of adds to ones natural attraction/beauty.

I would say, that it's just the fact, that if your proud and being praised by your look (your body), it's gonna be a huge boost to your selv a steem, and thereby your everyday body language.

Being "buff" and working out to look good are totally different!
Its BS that not every1 can look better from working out. You will get stronger and you will look better. What your confusing is type of muscle people have. Some people have smaller muscles that are are a lot better for staminer work, say marathon runners.
Other people have huge muscles that are as strong as an ox! They can lift ur car up with 1 hand but they can only do it 2 or 3 times then they get tired.
Both looks are attractive, but neither can be achived without exercise and work. Every human is capable of building muscle and getting stronger.

Excersize should be for the fun, the chalenge and the health.
It's not working out or looking buff. Sure looking like a big bad ass will get girls attention faster, but it means nothing in the long run. If you are going to work out just to get girls then don't, you have better uses for your time and money. You'll just end up like those stupid high school jocks I always end up AMOGing just for sport.

But i am the buff jock that AMOGs the other jocks :P and then games the whole cheerleading squad, at the same time :O

Nahh i agree, you should exercise to feel/look better and be happier. When you look better you feel happier. When you happier you feel better. And when you feel good you look better (more confident).

Just dont go OTT, you are not the hulk ..... just get toned, its another way of showing you look after yourself :D

I have to stay in shape (part of the job) and it's awesome when my abs are used as peacocking. Ha ha, it's actually easy to appear fit and healthy around the average American if you work out a few times a week and stay away from fast food.
Shit, you guys hit on something near and dear to my heart! Hell, I've used lines like "man, my abs hurt from the workout today"--kind of randomly thrown in the conversation under the cover of "pain" and I've had girls lift up my shirt right there. That look on their faces when they see something nice is awesome!
Many studies have shown, and this month's Men's Health has it in there, that women respond much more positively to men with a V taper vs all others. If you don't know what that looks like, think broad chest and small waist. The upper torso forms the shape of a V. Think old school bodybuilders from like the 50's and shit. Hit the gym and/or get some clothes to accentuate this, and you're in it to win it.
By the way, the ab thing and the V taper thing have both been field tested, many times. Women love fit men.
