I dont really talk about looks as is the general thing for most men not to talk about these things, but now i gotta ask. I heard that if you look scruffy women wont go for it, but i have also heard that some one like well looked after beards. Beards make you look older... right? but is that good or bad?

im still a recovering afc but have been getting into pickup a lot over the last few months, i had a goatee and had total confidence in it and everything went pretty well, but i did dramatically better once i shaved it (but i also started working out, styling my hair, wearing more cologne and a hand full of other things)

i would say, its not about the look as much as how certain you are that you look great.

if you understand that you look good with that beard then keep it

if your like the little engine that could saying "im ok with how i look, im ok with how i look im ok with how i look" then your inside your head, your not smooth and it will be more difficult

well i was told that scruffyness is a atraction to sum woman...i have a go t...i have to keep it clean shavin for work....its all a matter of what you want and if you can work your game with what you got ...i know a guy who looks like a damn gorilla but he can talk to the hb's and they overlook his facial hair...

In general girls like the scruffy look. But if a beard suits your face and looks then go for it. Just because there is some general rule about something (fashion/look wise), does not mean you need to follow it.
