Ok, so i was running a set generally well and i go to number close and i get the "but i have a bf." I'd never gotten this line so far into a set, usually i'll eject if they're not responsive and whatnot. I just responded "well i never said i wanted to have sex with you, i was just wondering if you wanted to XYZ (i think it was going to another party later this week)." this made her laugh and she gave me a number (dunno if its real or not)

Whats the best way to handle this as far into the set?

Honestly, you could've responded with, oh ok, or I don't care. Don't apologize for being a man. You could've plowed more after as well. Did you give your SOI? This is the key factor, without SOI that number close is useless even though you get a day 2. You need to escalate as fast as you can.

Assuming you asked for her number , when she says 'I have a bf'. Just say

'Thats not what I asked'

the first thing you should have done is not had said you didnt want to have sex becuase yes you just got put in the friend zone..then if she gave you the number you should have called in on the spot and busted her balls if it was fake...but hey non the less you did alright to get the # close ne ways..

You did good to get the number bro. If its a real number and should you get into the LJBF zone just try to spin it to your advantage. She has friends that you can game too.
