Okay so I was at a party this past weekend and I got to talk to this girl (I had met her a few times before, but we had never really talked before) and she was giving me all sorts of IOIs and I end up scoring a kiss at the end of the night from her(She made the move). Anyways, I forgot to get her number and I figured I screwed up all the attraction and rapport that was built between us since I had no way to contact her. But anyways, I end up getting a text from her a couple nights later, apparently she had gotten my number from one of my friends, and the entire text was basically her qualifying herself to me. Then today at work I got another text from her about how she wanted to hang out with me tonight...Anyways, here is where my problem is: I told her I was down to hang out (AFC mistake?) and she ends up texting me back telling me how she cant hang out anymore.

Did I do the right thing by trying to hang out with her today (She is obviously attracted and interested in me) or should I have played "hard to get/3 day rule" and told her I was busy tonight?

Should I wait for her to text/call me back and try to hang out with me or should I take the initiative and make the move instead?


I could just be over complicating things, but I would like to hear other peoples input on the matter.

No, "relationship-trap" is not a pickup term, but I think it perfectly describes what's going on right now. It sounds like she's trying to make you her bitch boyfriend (who she's going to cheat on plentifully).

I agree on the running. Not sure about the relationship trap thing. Tho I can see her using the guy for her emotional needs when the guys she is screwing are not giving her any emotional support.
