What u say is quite pointless. Its how you say it, ur BL and just general inner game and what u have to follow it up with. Dont believe me, look at the worthwhile threads and in 1 of them some1 successfully opened with "do you recon the teacher would like chocolate sex with jonney deep".

It isn't as black and white as people on these forums like to spin it. There isn't a clear progression where newbies start with indirect game and use it as a crutch while veterans use direct game. It's all what you're comfortable with.

Canned openers aren't a crutch. If you never use canned openers, I can tell you that you aren't maximizing your number of approaches. There are times when you can't find a situational opener quickly enough to hook a girl; when that happens, all you have is canned stuff. It doesn't have to be the ancient "who lies more?" thing, you can think up your own, but the point is that it's canned.

Indirect game also isn't a crutch or below direct game. In general I don't like how the community is shifting towards direct game because it throws all of the psychology that pickup is based on out the window. I've seen way too many newbies jump into direct game because it seems easier and get blown out of set after set. Because direct game puts a lot more on the table than indirect, these guys burn out a lot quicker and give up.

Use what works best for you. If you aren't sure, write down two game plans, one for indirect and one for direct and go field test them.

the best way to use any opener is to go out there and use situational openers ps you must get good at improve for this to look congruent but if done succesfully you will be opening hbs in no time and ruling sets learn to open to attract to qualify comfort and close and your on the mark ps each one of these steps are very easy always tell yourself this--------

It's all prefrence, nothing to do with natural method, the natural method is to not study PU.

It's this wave we've got going on at the moment of "Direct natural game" Which (don't get me wrong) has created some really great developments in PU.

But it's resulted in the people who were ignorantly clinging to mystery now realising their ignorant clingyness on mystery and wrapping their legs round Vin di Carlo instead.

All the while in a rather ironically cruel statement exclaiming. "I 'm so glad I'm not like those hero worshipping mystery students"
