I know this is the most basic of questions, but any help, as brief as it might be, would really help.

Got this girls number on Sunday. And it was during the day. Never been strong with day game, so I was quite proud of myself

Anyways, I want to take her to my buddy's bar on Friday night.

Should I call her on Thursday to set something up, or wait until the day of and just act casual? You know, I'm going to my buddy's bar, you should roll with me, blah, blah, blah.

What do you guys think?

Usually everyone has plans on a friday night, if you wait till then, it might be too late.

That's perfet that your inviting her to somewhere that your already going,because now she's following you around and your showing higher value.

so call her on tuesday around 8pm ( right after supper ) and say " Hey its ___, how are ya ? " blah blaj blah "Well look, I'm going to my buddys bar on friday night, come join me ! "

Be direct and dont ask permission. " If she says that she cant because she's busy , then say " Ok no problem, I'll call ya the next time I'm free." and leave it at that...

LOL I almost always call on Tuesdays. It has always seemed like the perfect day. It will have been a few days since you got her number (most numbers come on weekends) and it's the perfect amount of advance notice to set something up for the upcoming weekend.

I make exceptions if I get the number on a Monday or Wednesday. Of course you have to gauge the situation as always. If you think you've got her completely hooked you can call whenever the hell you want. If you're only teetering on the brink of attraction you don't want to wait more than two days because she might just forget completely about you.

haha ya I agree with that too.. Depending on how I got the number, if I hung out with her all day and we made out and have already done a lot of stuff together, I mgiht call or text two days later. If it was a 5 minute number close, I'llw ait 4 days to show I;m not desperate. all depends on the situation.. I try not to call too soon though.

Most of the time I go for same day. I do this for a few reasons - the wait X days feels very overplayed and it's a silly game that I have no interest in.

If I can arrange to call at (end of night/later to hook up/later to arrange to get together over weekend/tonight to discuss xyz) then I can flow through comfort easier. The call is normally at least vaguely arranged.

Regularly I send a text as I leave them also - I prefer this than exchanging numbers but again feel that it flows things a little better. It's only ever something short and silly. "I'm actually going to give your number to my friend, he's 5'2" but you're just his type!" "Just to confirm; you are straight, right?!"

It's probably worth mentioning that I like to get into qualifying her on initial call. Not too in depth but enough to confirm I want to see her. If there's going to be a second call, that's when I would delay things slightly, but as above I move through stages ASAP really.

Another thing I like to do to get the ball rolling that night, I get her number and send a text right then and there with "Now here's my number"
Gets the girl to store your number easier and sometimes they reply to it, so now your in a text convo.

something that I came up with on my own is " Congrats! You win !" , they reply all excited "win what?" then I say " My number ". Something I thought was cocky funny
