I picked up this chick on the bus, and she closed me with her e-mail. Because I'm not a 'MSN/chat' kind of guy, I added her to Facebook.
The only background that you need to know is that she has a boyfriend, but she actually didn't want to have to tell me about him, and she was very eager to see me again (I also dealed with the boyfriend factor in true Neil Strauss fashion! Plus her and her bf are on a 'break' right now).
Other than that, I was able to build up a lot of female-to-male attraction!
My problem is this: this chick doesn't talk very much. She's very quiet. In person, I have no problem dealing with that, but on Facebook (or when it comes to e-mails and such), I don't know what to say!
Here's the conversation. Maybe you guys could help me figure out what to say? I don't know where I should guide this interaction. I tried overtly hitting on her (as you'll soon see), but it doesn't seem to work with her.
*Side note: pizza pops and wine is our little inside joke. I told her that her bf could cook for us lol.
Her: lol heyy.
Me: You know, I bet you get called Campbell soup a lot. Sooooooooo...
I dub thee Chocolate Chip, because your initials are C.C. It makes sense -- totally!
Her: lol yeah, i used to get made fun of for it. but its cool now. chocolate chip is pretty sweet. it does make sense
Me: Of course it makes sense: C.C. and sweetness go together like hummus and whatever it is that goes well with hummus!
*Three days go by. She doesn't reply.*
Me: lol I can't believe this: I add you and you *totally* ignore me! Hmmm... maybe I should delete you as a friend, then we'll forever have our bus moment, instead of muted Facebook anonymity!
Hrmmm.. and what will I do with all this wine and these pizza pops? The garden gnomes can have 'em!
Check it -->
Her: lol im not ignoring you. i swear i thought i replied! i still have the wine and the pizza pops c:
So where do I go from here!?? I guess I would normally ask her what's new in her life, and tell her to write me a fantasy story about the adventures of her life. They like that: they get to role play and use their imagination.
Truth be known, I want to have a day 2 with this chick (she's just a really cool and a really cute gal!). I just can't think of how to build this interaction. It's like having a bunch of lego, but no instructions lol.
