the other day i was in the bookstore with a friend when my friend was approached by a co-worker. i did not know the co worker, who was a male, so i introduced myself to him? is that what an alpha male would do?

Yep, you did good. An alpha male is sociable. Not introducing yourself would have shown that you do not know how to be sociable and insecure. Good job!

make sure you have a good strong hand shake, theres nothing worse than a pathetic weak handshake, you feel silly doing it and the person shaking your hand will not get "alpha" vibes from it

Handshake: should be firm but dont do the whole *hmmm, can i break his hand* thing.

Also, for new people u meet. If u REALLY want to subtle out alpha them when u shake their hand very slightly tilt ur hand so ur hand is palm down and theirs is palm side up. VERY SLIGHTLY though.

Its subconcious, and if u make it noticable u will look like a social retard.
On a non PUA note, google handshaking and find some stuff out. Its usefull in business to PUA and everything inbetween.
