I would say at least half the girls I make a date with try to cancel at some point. Some I never recover. One of them (now an !close), i got her to keep the date that same day.

My problem is that when scheduling a date-I'm a bit rigid with the day and time. I feel that if I start working with their schedule-its a lkosing proposition so the other day I kept pushing a Tuesday date w a girl who said she "couldnt promise but would let me know for sure Monday". She sent a text that said she cant do it. Didnt offeer alternatives or anything else.

Whats the best way to handle a cancel? Cocky funny? Any lines or routines? SHould I forget about her?

maybe you are not being consistant with the CF routine. Maybe you sound lame when it comes to the phone game and they loose interest.

are you trying to make your outting sound exciting. or are you just asking for some coffee. or a lunch?

even if you are you should let them know that its fast. and that you have to be in a meeting or at an appointment. and that your time is more precious than theirs.

hb- nothing probly going to stay intoday
me- i was thinking bout going to grab some icecream later. you ever ate at cold stone? its super cool. i just go cause i like to watch them make it.
hb- yes / no. if she says no. (Tell her a bit about it make it sound like something she needs to see with you)
me- well i'll show *it* to you *if you think you can handle it* . But what if you make my ice cream melt and make it all *gooey*?
hb- blah blah blah.
me- you know what, i have some stuff to do today but i got a break at 3:00 and we can go there. but then i'll have get back to work after. either that maybe after i finish. but i don't know what time that is.

then just feel her out. thow some CF in there

I think you gotta keep the whole 'you are the prize' thing going, let her make an offer of a time, and even if you can do it, make out that you have another appointment. Tell her you'll call or message her later telling her whether you could change the 'said appointment' or anything. Then call/msg saying 'Looks like I do have an available slot free if you're still keen.'

And maybe you are being too rigid with your time expectations, but I don't know.
