Hey guys
was at the gym earlier today and noticed two young ladies HB8 and HB9 in the stretching area so I went over there to use a fitball. I asked if they were using it and they said no.. then I paused and looked at HB8 with the "I know you from somewhere look ".

Here is what happened briefly:

Me: "Do I know you from somewhere?"
HB9: "ummm I'm not sure?"
Me: "Do you work at a shopping centre or fast food joint?"
HB9: "Yeah I work at Big W? why?" [Big W is a convenience store in Australia]
Me: "Oh yess thats where I've seen you before, yeah I never forget a unique face" [No I've never seen her there before]
HB9: "WHATS THAT MEAN TO MEAN?!?"
Me: "Oh I think your face is different from others... its a good thing! makes you stand out hence why I remember you"
HB9: "oh okay... hey I've seen you from somewhere before too?!?"

From there it was pretty much what school did you goto etc. and Perth being a small place I know we'd know someone in common (especially since its a local gym) and eventually came to someone and say hey I think I met you a party a while back too!

Anyhow... HB9 wanted some attention and jumped into the convo and I eventually hit them up with the "Hey its amazing how I only met you but I reckon I know so much about you already" and basically ran a few patterns. Eventually the girls around us were intrigued and invited themselves in and I switched it to palm reading and eventually reflexology. I had 8 girls surrounding me all looking in when I was doing the reflexology stuff to HB9 and all the other guys in the gym just looking at me with a "WTF?!?" expression on their face.

When I finished with that I looked at the clock and said I had to jet... HB9 invited me to HB8's birthday party and then asked the permission of HB8 after she told me to come (which I take as a IOI) and eventually asked for my number so she can send me an invite.

Its amazing how these big guys goto the gym with their hotted up cars and show off by trying to bench heaps and hopefully get the attention of girls... when I just popped in ran a few patterns and had 2 girls begging for my number haha. Easy number close and the attention of multiple women who will most likely say hi to me next time I'm in.

Most guys in the gym are trying to compensate for their lack of conversational skills by just "looking good" and hoping it's enough.

Though I go to the gym to work hard, and I'm usually pretty drained and mustering up a conversation is pretty damn hard in that state so I don't really talk to anyone at the gym much haha.

I find the gym one of the hardest places to sarge, so many AFC's and AMOG's staring at any HB working out. Great job man. I was thinking a compliment opener would work too (something stupid liker her shoes or something) I defiantly want to try your method.

im a personal trainer at a sydney fitness first, so i can always approach any girl there with a cover up . the uniform works well though i havta try destinguish myself not as a salesman but as just a talkative dude.

I don't know how you do it man, but the last time I tried the "Hey don't I know you from somewhere" quote they said "Ha I heard that one before" and I muttered something like (dammit) and walked away
