So what do you have going for you besides your looks?

I sent this opener to like 30 girls (all atleast 1000 miles away) and I have gotten 2 responses both from australia and they were similar in context.


Here is the first one I got which I replied to and have gotten no response to my reply.


I replied:
Everyone has something going for them. Get back at me if you figure it out.

Personally, I don't think that type of opener is that good on MySpace. It comes off rather cheeky and its probably been over used.

But to the replies.

I'd tell both HB's to list some of their 'main' ones. Or alternatively you could guess them! But be funny not 'serious' like.... 'I bet you're a good talker, but a bad listener. '

Also, don't bother wasting time messaging girls that far away - I know you're probably just practising messaging them so your game improves by the time you come to girl's in your area. But still, I wouldn't like get too stressed or caught up about girls that live like 1000 miles away...

my opinion is that your talking about her looks, I.O.I, without her working for the i.o.i

you didnt neg before the i.o.i so in short i rekon your showin way to much interest way 2early, you haven't dhv'd either so she has no attraction just interest because your message was interesting, hence y it aint workin, try a story before you talke about her looks and neg b4 you ioi.

That makes a lot of sense thanks. I was thinking that merely messaging her on a dating website was a huge ioi in itself so with that frame of mind I thought that opener was appropriate as it would convey "you need to impress me" but I don't think it worked out like that. I'll send a less ioi riddled opener next time.





Lol now I think that was a better idea. I thought having it the way I put it would be a sort of neg but now it looks like what you had was negging correctly. I just reversed it and it came off wrong. Lesson learned. Thanks for putting it out there I may have otherwise missed that mistake.

I've got a little problem of my own.

I've sent a message to a girl saying:

Shes sent one back saying,

Immediately I know shes interested, shes given the ex, and has pretty much opened the convo up.

Any ideas whut to do next?

well my first guess would be to insert something cocky and funny but maybe you can go like well i happen to have an interesting dilema and maybe you can think of an interesting enough answer for it. and put an interesting pua routine here lol.

At first I thought she was still being bitchy from my shitty opener but on second glance it almost looks like shes trying to use cocky comedy but putting too much cocky and comming off like an asshole like we sometimes do. Any thoughts on how to respond to this?

I am thinking "How long did it take you to respond to that? lol" but maybe that is punishing her for good behavior (stating something personal and good about herself).
Maybe I should put "Then I'm in trouble . Is that what took you so long to respond?" or is that too self depricating. I am picking it up by the cocky and funny comment after though.
