I am definitly a newbie. I would like to know just how much your personal version of peacocking resembles the descriptions of Mystery et. al that are found in Styles book etc.

Later,

I wore a large purple fedora hat and a purple flower pinned to my shirt on Easter when I went to a concert..... It was a big hit.

well, i personally, where a bright t-shirt sometimes i even wear a loud and wild shirt. then i where different colored jeans. plus i wear this mushroom hat which loox a little wierd, but it realllyyyy catches attention from chix. if u want u could even wear a lip ring and some funky ear rings.
it woud also b a good idea to add ur own touch to it....but rmbr that u have to step OUT of ur comfort zone when it comes to dressing up

I disagree there Sim. I think that you shouldnt step too far out of your comfort zone when peacocking. You want to feel good with what you are wearing.
I usually wear a nice, classy and out there shirt. Jewellery like rings and necklaces. I have one in particular that flashes, which is awesome. I also have a pair of porn star sunnies that catch alot of attention and a feminine shirt that women cannot seem to keep their hands off.
Anything that gives you a way to stand out above the crowd in a positive way.

I try to peacock from others simply by my choice of clothes. It's easy job in town where I live, 'cause there are two-three major groups of people and everyone has its own "uniform".
Try to make combinations that make sense, something like you would take to a costume party, only without a costume. Maybe it's simpler this way;
I have necklace and armband from Tunis (made of dead camel's leather, the camel died natural way, it was not killed), and I wear with it some green-brown unbuttoned shirt and brown t-shirt under it. Now I'm in search for some green/brown pants to complete my clothing.
Now I was told to look like guy who just stepped out from Indiana Jones movie. My point is not to imitate anybody, but to step out of metalheads's typical style (BTW, I listen to Metallica, Disturbed, Hammerfall and Children Of Bodom), that is black-death-junkie style.

Try to simply get some good clothing, but make sure it goes together in a way that tells a story, whether its Indiana Jones or I-just-robbed-a-bank story. You wouldn't wear black suit and tie along with with purlple shorts.

Carpe Diem and look good!

My personal favourite are the glow in the dark wrist bands... makes you stand out... it was a hit on NYE. Also if you know the club you're going to has a blacklight, try wearing something that reacts to it.... like try painting a pattern on your face using toothpaste (this only works because toothpaste dries clear) this has worked for me at raves. And also it's funny to see people's reactions when the blacklight kicks in, coz when you go to normal light it doesn't show up, only on the dance floor. Make sure your clothes are lint free too.... it lights you up like a lamington...

Use some peacock but don't over do it.

I maybe wear a ring, necklace or something but
nothing more. Look, it has to be congruent. You have
to feel ok with wearing that stuff and comfortable with
it...

You need incredible frames and confidence to wear
the stuff Mystery wears.

The point of peacocking is to get some attention. That's all.
You certainly don't want to look try hard. Especially if you're
new to all this...

And have a story for every item you wear.

For example:

HB notices a really nice ring on you finger.

HB: Wow, nice ring, starts touching it or something... "where did you get it?"
PUA: blabla... a good friend of mine bought it in Peru blabla DHV DHV
PUA: go into ring finger routine...
PUA: go into horoscopes blabla...

And you already have a 10 minute conversation out of that...

Good luck,

Love,
Flavio

well i am new to the community too but I would also agree wityh not going too far from your comfort zone, not at first anyway.
It also depends on your style. Me, I wear some sick-ass custom jewellery( I like shiny things lol).
My prized peice is this one wicked chain that is very unique and and huge! and i get TONS of girls that just come right up and start oggling and fondling it. It opens lots of potential convos ( can take it pretty much any way I feel like). And with something like that, u get alot of guys comin up and complimenting you on it too, which is great because you can use them toget close to the girls they came with ( hehe yes I am one of 'those' sneaky guys lol, just not to friends or fellow PUA's)

Hair is great for peacocking:

HB: Nice hair (or other hair reference)
Me: Indeed. This hair is the result of a fanatical attack by vicious natives.
HB: Do tell... (or other reference to continue conversation)
Me: Well, you see this red bit.
HB: Yeah. (Keep her saying yes)
Me: It's where all the blood spurted out when the arrow pierced my forehead. Now, you see the back.
HB: Yeah (giggling).
Me: This is where the arrow went out through my head and out the back. HB: Your wierd.
Me: Well, you know, it takes one to know one. And one and one make to. It takes two to tango.
HB: (Giggle)
Me: Come take a seat, I have something to show you.
HB: Yeah.
Me: Trust me, it'll be fun.
etc... Now you have some comfort and some rapport, so go play a few games.
End with a kiss close.

Another one I have got is when guys comment on my hair in a negative way. I have adapted one of Mysteries replies.

Me: Well, there are a lot of brids nests in my hair, it can get a bit annoying.
Oh, there's a bird in one of nests, let me show you pull a bird from my hair.
Show them the finger.

Although I like the bird out of the hat. The birds nest is still a viable connection.

The more dressed up you are, the more likely you are going to get attention from girls anyway.

Agreed, I have a great story about my gold chain, truly emotive and endearing, from my dad, women love it. I usually play with it to attract attention. Sometimes I'll wear my Ruby ring. I also have a funky Marc Ecko watch that attract attention. I am looking at using the telepathic watch act with it next time someone asks. I'll do a GM style with it... Plus a magic trick.
