Is a girl still interested in you even if she isn't calling/texting you all the time?

Im used to chicks being really clingy and texting me non stop, but this one girl rarely makes the first move to re-start communication, but will reply if I text her first.

It sort of depends... I am sorry I can't give you a straight forward answer, but its the best I can do. First off, it is a great sign that she texts you back when you text her (she is willing to meet you half way). But you need to give me/us more information before we can truely try to help you.

1.) How long does it normally take her to text you back? less than a 1 minute? 5 minutes? an hour or more?

2.) How long do you both text back a forth and how often? Daily? everyother day? 20 total texts (counting hers and yours together)? or like 6 texts?

3.) How long ago did you meet her? And has she ever texted you first or engaged the conversation?

and finally...

4.) What do you to normally talk about?

But, I think bottom line you know if she likes you or not. You just want us to reaffirm your beliefs that she is interested in you . The fact that you are questioning the fact that she likes you is only your old AFC coming out of the closet. Put that skeleton back in its place!!

I think smarts made a really great post, but i thought i'd just add in my two cents.

I'm kindof in the same position with a girl at the minute, although she texts me first quite a lot. What I like to do is text her, she replies, I reply, she replies then I ignore it. A good sign of her being interested is if she sends you another text, be it related to the same topic or not it's showing that she still wants to keep in contact with you (plus its a bit of cat and string theory going on heh). I started using little things like this after finishing the game and this girl won't leave me alone now. Mix in some negs and cocky funny into the texts and it'll give them more reason to reply, for example if she replies as soon as you send the text you could say something like "that was a quick reply! That eager to talk to me are you? x"

Ok some background... ok this hb lives like 100 miles away from me, and when I go up to her town with my friends for the weekend, she will text me a lot to arrange to meet and text me out of the blue to ask something random, like what she should wear. But when I go back home, its like she will lose interest and won't try and make contact with me.

With regards to how quickly she replies... sometimes we will exchange about 10 texts in 5mins and then sometimes it takes hours, so then ill take my time to reply back to her....

I've only known her 3 weeks, and she has basically told me she is scared of falling for me as she lives so far away, and she would date me if I lived in her town.... but I don't know if that's just bs, as I've read on here judge a girl by her actions not her words...

I just don't get why she blows hot and cold.

Oh one other thing, I did kinda tell her I can't stand clingy chicks.
