| Going back to the newbie section because, well, I'm a newbie. Have a few questions, most pertaining to house parties since I recently moved into a house for the summer and we've had some parties. I'll break my questions down by party, since thats the easiest way to remember.
Party 1: Country concert...
Already posted this in the field report section, but this pertains to after we got back. My roomie that didn't go had some people over. So I go down to the basement, not wanting to drink. I get to playing beer pong with this blonde chick, but she was drinking all my cups. Before leaving, I invited her to the next party the next night. She said she was coming and bringing her slutty friends, but never showed the next night. Should I have gotten her number or was she just a flake?
Party 2: Moving in party...
First real party at the house. Plenty of people, more girls than guys, I was actually impressed. I just roamed around meeting people and playing various games, then the night got late. I go upstairs to see some people sitting around the table. Sit next to this one chick who works with my roommate at Hollister (thats where most of the chicks work), so I neg her about having a bitch manager. She ignores it and exclaims that she is buying all the roomies breakfast in the morning and asks what I would like. We all tell her and I told her if I didn't see her in the morning I was never talking to her again. She leaves, then later on in the night my roomie asks me what my number is because she wants to know because "I'll be the only one up early enough". Was this just her way to get my number? The next day she added me on Facebook, but I think she might just be outgoing. She never brought breakfast that next morning, but she brought it to our 3rd party so I can't really complain. Should I have gotten her number in the kitchen instead of having her ask my roommate for it?
Also at the second party, blonde chick. Pretty cute, but my roomie was going for her. At the end of the night, she keeps coming into my room. I'm pretty sure she wanted to sleep with me, but I couldn't. She would come sit down on my bed while I'm watching South Park on my computer. She tells me I have a "hot" car, I say I know because its purple. I go to the bathroom to get ready for bed, come back and then she comes back in a minute later, sits on my bed, and pretty much closes the door with her foot. I ask where she is sleeping that night, she says a bed. I ask which one, and she shrugs her shoulders, looks at me and giggles. At that point I knew what she wanted, but my roomie comes in and fetches her. What should I have said? I was thinking about something along the lines of, "I'll tell you what. My bed if you can let my roommate down nicely." I didn't want to screw over my roommate, but she was so damn cute.
Party 3 - Roomie's b-day...
I arrive home from work, get changed, and head downstairs to join the 30 people gathered in my basement. Breakfast girl is there, she runs up and hugs me and tells me she got my Fruit Loops. I had forgotten her name, and I think she was a little angry with me from then on out. I scope out the room and see a few cuties, but my AA gets the best of me and I end up not talking to them the entire night. I was already exhausted from work and had to work early the next morning, so I didn't drink much and just chilled the whole night. What are some good openers to get some conversation going at my own parties?
Party 4 - 4th of July...
Last night, still a little hungover... Roomie and I ran the pong table and kept winning when we played civil war. So I got a little drunk. Blonde chick from before shows up with a friend, but they don't stay long since they wanted to go to Taco Bell pretty bad. I guess they texted my roomie asking if they could come back but his phone was dead. Not much happened, that I remember. I needed to get drunk though, I've been in this house almost 2 weeks and have yet to get DRUNK until last night. So now that that is out of the way, I need to focus on getting a girl in my bed.
Any suggestions? I mean, it shouldn't be too hard. I'm pretty good looking and can be outgoing when I get a few drinks in me. I probably need to lower my standards, but my roomie did that on his birthday and was depressed for a few days after that. And I did the right thing not sleeping with the blonde girl my roomie was going after right? _________________ The hottest ginger you'll ever meet.
