So, I met this girl and her friend at this nice restarant in my neighborhood, favorite place of rich young people.

She semi-invited me to this party (it was a work party for her work) and gave me her number. Didn't go to the party, but I called her at 11:00 after the party and we had a great conversation. I tried to get her to watch into the wild with me and she said she wouldn't 'stay in with someone she just met' but she'd take a rain check.

Didn't call her till Monday, but then I called her and set a date for thursday.

This girl is an HB9 but a little older (early 30's and I'm 27). Set it to be all exciting and what not. I originally tried to get her to go out on Wednesday (hump day) but she said she already had plans, and said it in a way that it was probably some other dude.

Thursday comes, I drop her a little text message saying that for our date I'm taking her to California (we both wanted to be there instead of here), and she replies with 'you're gonna hate me... but i have a client dinner that i have to go to tonight. I'll call you later'

I just met that with silence and went out picking up other girls. At 11:00 I just sent her a message 'nice. well not like i didn't see it coming but i was pulling for you babez.' That was a week ago (or two?) and I'm wondering if this is now a dead lead that she's flaked or if i should call her up now that I've shown i don't stick around for flakes. What's your guys' take on this kind of situation?

At this point, she's dropped a couple of indicators of disinterest, as well as not calling you after she told you that she would. My advice would be to let this one slide, and to only rekindle the relationship if she should call you.

Actually, i waited until about 12:30 and never got that call from her before i sent her that message back. At that point I was at a bar about to take a girl home who actually turned out to be crazy. Happy huntings
