So a friend of mine, not a super close one, but a top 10 friend of mine dated this girl about 2 years ago, and he has a new girlfriend now that hes been with for about a year.
I recently got out of a 3 year relationship and just got in to the PUA scene. Not that I hate girls now, I just see them for what they are, and used to be "that nice guy" and im ready to change.
Anyways I have hooked up with this friends ex girlfriend before, mostly for a rebound purpose due to a failed 3 year relationship. How wrong is this?

No one can answer that for you. If you friend doesn't care, then it isn't wrong at all. If he does care, it depends on how close you are.

Now me personally, I don't want anyone I call a friend touching any girl I slept with, no matter how much time has passed. But it happens and you gotta eventually just learn to deal it.

yea the thing is, me and his ex were friends, and he started getting mad when we would hang out, even though I had no intentions of doing anything, and like I said, I have been "the nice guy"
I am known as the guy that doesn't have a huge hook up list and he even said so himself, but as soon as he tried to get people to hook up with my ex, I stepped in, and basically beat him to it.

I was once in the same situation you were in danny. However, my friend was the biggest asshole to women who cheated on them constantly. So of course i got together with ever and felf no guilt. The situation dictates. It doesn't sound like your friend is the cheating type, but he does come off as an asshole if he tries to hook people up with your ex.

actually the girl he is with now, He has cheated on 3 times, one of which was his ex that I hooked up with. He has changed now for about a couple weeks, but he isn't the best boyfriend thats for sure.
I knew his current GF longer than him because she was best friends with my Ex. HE even tried to fight me one night, because his current girlfriend was at my house. We are strictly friends, and I dont find her very attractive, I have known her for about 4 years now. And he flipped out on me, and came to my house, and I told him he could have come over if he wanted to.
Its all said and done now though

Talk with the guy is my only thing. See if he's cool with it, and find out why if not. Make sure it's a legit reason, and not simply because he doesn't want you to. If he doesn't go for it, then I suggest you tell him if he continues trying to hook people up with your ex, you will MOST CERTAINLY hook up with his. That shit works both ways.

Off limits. If you hook up with her and he finds out, might as well consider the friendship over.

I've lost a few friends because they even TRIED to hook up with an ex of mine. Its just a place you don't go, especially when you treated them as well as I did.

Now, for me? I have some friends that I won't hook up with their ex regardless. I do have a couple of friends who have cheated on their gf's. These are the gf's I would hook up with for some fun, but a relationship would be out of the question.
