At the end of The Game, Neil Strauss talks about how the Sunset Strip was outsarged...basically the girls had seen all the techniques ("Get your opinion openers", negs, kino, ioi's, etc.) and heard all the lines. Now I know you can come up with your version of your own lines...But nowadays there are alot of women out there who watched that VH1 show and have even read the book.

So many of them know the techniques themselves and can spot you and call you out. How do you deal with this? I am almost scared to use them b/c if you get called out you could look like more of a moron than before you even decided to use them.

Dont worry about it. So you get called out...make a joke out of it. Never lose your frame to her and even if she does know you're a pua it wont matter. 2 things to remember.

1, if she sees you being successful in opening other sets, subconsciously, you're going DHV anyway

2, also making reference to 'The Game', at the end mystery, style and many of the other puas still get girls despite them knowing about the game. It kinda makes them mini-celebrities.

Remember, you're not tricking these girls into liking you, you're simply showing them you're an alpha male right?

Treat the lessons like a guide, rather than a step by step manual.

The more creative you are, the better the lessons are hidden and girls wont see it!

The lessons are based on years of research into more than just pick ups - Kino, Mirroring, etc are common place psychological traits - at the core of every individual, not just for the purposes of pick ups. They are more common in selling and interviewing and are just adapted to suit situations - how good that adaption is is down to the individual - that comes with practice / rejections, etc.

The strip is outsarged? Hardly, just means the game needs to change or evolve. Think about it, if all the girls who hang out there saw the VH1 prog, then they would be expecting a pick up line, so do something different - "change is as good as a rest."

"Adapt and Overcome"

If you get found out how about this - "So, those years of studying, getting over my fears, becoming a better man is wasted on you then eh?" Self projection - you are selling yourself on the fact you are a substantially improved version of your former self and if she wants the opportunity to find out HOW much improved, she's now gonna have to work at convincing you that she is worth seeing that change!

Or even better - "So we both have something in common then, or perhaps I have some competition. Tell you what, hit me with your best line!" - She would hopefully then start trying to hit on you, thinking cos she's seen some episodes, she is a master PUA - flattery will get you everywhere!

Lots of scope to turn this around. Just think on your feet and dont think game over just cos you are sprung!

I think also, you would need to see her reaction. If she blatantly blows you out and rejects you, move on and next her. However, if she recognises your game but is still stood there you're still in the game. Roll with it, change your tactics somewhat and you're still playing. She might just shit test you in some way.

In fact it could work in your favour because she has no idea how successful/unsuccessful you've been with it. If you keep your frame she'll be wondering if you're quite good and hence you'll have DHV'd in her minds eye. Use the intrique it creates to your advantage. But keep your frame no matter what.

you know i actually use the whole pickup artist (vh1s) to my advantage if it comes up as oh yea never seen it then they explain it and i go well thats just a bunch of silliness who does that but at the same time im doing it. lol crazy

ive been called out by one lady my friend was trying to get with and it was a first for me so i stood there in astonishment not saying a word. another friend has ben called out a few times and now uses it to his advantage. go ahead and admit you read the book. it doesnt actually hurt you at all, she just knows what to expect next! be cool with it. and if she has a problem with it, fuck her, move on
