So I have been dating this HB9.5 for about year and half... at one point our relationship got a lil rocky and the g/f decides that we should break up with what I totally agreed with at that time...

The problems of us breaking up is that we live next door to each other on a college campus... so we see each other every damm day...

After we broke up I had a hard time getting over it for the first 3-5 days until I found another HB8 which is now my official FB. After hooking up with the HB8 I realized I want my g/f back but she think that since I hooked up with the FB that we cannot go out again...

Any suggestions on how to get her back...? or what to do...?

Hey - don't go there!

You broke up for a reason - getting back with her won't make things good - well, maybe for a short while, but people break up for a reason. You can't magically fix things by having a second time.

Is it really because of the FB you can't hook up again or do you think she may have moved on in her own mind (possibly cos she thinks you have hence the FB)?

If you are going to try and hook up with your EGF again, make sure you end the FB relationship cleanly - by that, I mean don't just domp her:

1. That will make her feel really bad - campus life could become quite bad if rumor between her GF's is that you are a complete arse.

2. It'll make you sound desperate to your EGF (ie you can dump someone at the drop of a hat to hook up with her again)

To be honest, give the ex some space and at the same time slowly "dissolve" the FB relationship. Try to make splitting up a mutual decision (not you dumping her or vice-versa - if it's mutual, it's agreeable)

Perhaps have some time honing your skills off campus. Just cos you are taking a time-out from the EGF, dosen't mean you can't still practice your skills. Just don't take it too far. Also make sure you are waaay of campus - if either find out you are picking up others, things could get a bit awkward.

The objective is to move on, but not leave a trail of emotional destruction in your path. Remaining friends will do wonders for your rep, make you look mature and confident in as much as you can handle break-ups, etc.

Well the problem with going off campus is my roommates and I are used to staying on campus and we just chill out our house or some random parties around our area... that way we all save some money... not all of my roommates are 21 so that is another factor as well as some of the girls that come over to our house aren't 21. ...

I see where you're coming from and completely understand your comments on how I should remain confident which will boost my rep... As of right now I believe I have been very confident and she is the one who is having a hard time... cuz its her that constantly comes back and needs to talk to me... hence, texting me every day I get off of work...

to sum it up - I really like that quote you left me... it makes total sense and I believe that is true since all things happen for a reason...

I have a pretty high closing rate with girls that I find attractive... since I'm foreign have an accent and am ambitious and succesful in many areas of my life but this girl I just can't get back... kinda weird and I hate it when I'm not a prize between two people...

I would say you have the "Want what I can't have" bug! You may be the victim of your own success.

If you really want to get back with the EGF, you need to be honest and say something like "The time we've spent apart has made me miss what we have had. I've come to realise that no-one can replace you and what we shared. I hope you feel the same way." Hell, quote the line if necessary - philosophical statements allow us to consider things from a different perspective....
