Went to the club and met/introduced to HB who was friends and with a girl I knew. Found her on facebook a week or so later. I still consider myself a noob/student at this type of stuff, but thanks for any input on replies or general advice here.

- if I need to DHV or neg more or make her qualify herself?

To be honest it looks like you're doing a good job. Try to talk to her about something you'd have a common interest about and then after a while bring something in to the mix. Subtly let her know something that you dislike about a girl you know. Drop it in to the conversation and if she agrees with you then start making her qualify herself. Be like

"I made the mistake of giving this girl my telephone number and now she wont stop texting me. The more I try to end the conversation the more she texts. So annoying why can't girls take a hint?"

Then she'll say something about how she doesn't do that. Without knowing it she has already began to qualify herself. Then you can take it from there by saying something like "Are you one of these girls who acts really clingy?" Then she'll defend herself again by qualifying herself to you.

Finally ask something like "So other than looks what would you say you got going for you?" Get her to come up with a list of things. To be honest though it looks like you already know what you're doing mate.
