hmm...do u think it had ne thing to do with him being/acting foreign? Kinda like an excuse for his upfront behavior and all the gesticulating, - I cannot help it, this is how we do it in italy- plus an excuse to do the kiss kiss thing straight off (lol they don't even do that he is lucky she wasn't very smart)
