I am only posting this here cos I haven't got 30 posts you to post it elsewhere. A new problem has recently developed. When I peacock Amogs (as a group) think I am "gay" and start having a go at me. AMOG tactics aren't working on them, and it's getting me blown out of a lot of sets. The other part is I get a constant stream of "no one wants you here" or " Go away" form the AMOGs. It's just plain wrong. I need some killer AMOG tactics. ASAP.

Lol j/k. You can do one of two things: tone down your peacocking or adjust your attitude to match. They probably don't think you're homosexual, just annoying. And if they do think you are actually gay, then you need to analyze what it is you are saying and how you are acting inside of the sets, and not what you are wearing.

What kind of peacocking are we talking about? Cos people have been known to take it to extremes. There was a guy on here not long ago who just plain didn't get the whole concept and dressed up as a lumberjack. He even went so far as to take a fucking axe out with him.

As already mentioned, you'll either have to tone down the peacocking or adjust your attitude to match. If you're dressed really crazy and look like a fucking party animal, and you're approaching girls doing opinion openers in a low energy way it looks totally incongruent and they will just think you're nuts. Of course if you go wild and act like a party animal they'll think you're nuts aswell, but at least it'll be in a good way.

I kinda have the same problem. Not so much "go away." But, people think I'm gay all the time. I am in a suburb of Chicago, so I can use the "you are a hick" card or "get with the times." My personal favorite is, "just because I brush my teeth, doesn't make me gay" or play along. After some guy accuses me of being gay, occasionally, I might act overly homosexual to a point that it is comical and start hitting on him. I don't know where you are from. It may not be the best of ideas in some parts. It's a huge DHV is you show that you don't care about some random guy's opinion. Show that you are confident and you know you are not gay. That's the only opinion that makes a difference.

I like the waffles voting idea. That will work great at controlling frame. It will also make them qualify themselves to you after you have called them out.

In addition, you can tone down your style choices a little bit. Dress for the event. I'd rather dress the way I want to dress and not change who I am so some jerk will accept me.

When in doubt, "Cool man." is always a great default.

just play along.. say yes or "i might be..." but keep running routines at them

for AMOGs: if they say you are gay, they are trying to lower your value by saying that. but it only lowers your value if you are bothered by it (which they are doing successfully as i read your text).

actually the above lines...that is what real gays would say and real gays are sometimes very alpha with this kind of behavior.

I dont know much cos im a newbie. But alot of people think iam as well even when im not sarging whichy is a major pain in the arse. Peacocking IMO is vastly overrated and paid way too much attention to for a few reasons. 1.) it is one of the first things u learn are a potential PUA. 2.) You can peacock without being nervous for the most part.

REMEMBER to peacock you need only 1 item that interests people so they have something to talk to you about if they approach you (unlikely for the most part).
