Opener w/ Swimming Instructor (obviously not while teaching)

Saw an HB6 today at the place i go to workout/swim, I wanted to say something but didn't manage to do it being a noob. I know you "shouldn't" approach women in the gym because they're not in their best comfort zone, so saying a neg or w/e could be bad.

But I don't know if a swimming instructor would be the same, and I seldomly actually go to the swimming pool so it's not like I would run into them often.

Any good openers that could work? I was thinking of just asking how she became an instructor (she only looks 20 or 21 if not younger)
