Hey I've read about Shit Test in the game but still don't fully understand them and wondered if some of you guys could give examples.

A shit test is pretty much anything a girl says to test your frame. To give you an in depth example, let's say you've been chatting with a girl in a club for a while and she's starting to fidget with her bag. You know she isn't bored with you - it's the environment. The place is only open for another hour anyway so you decide to cut to the chase:

You: Alright fuck this, you know what? I'm getting bored with all this loud music, let's go back to my place.
Girl: Um... OK, and what exactly would we be doing at your place?

Uh oh! She wants to know if you've got sex on your mind! Surely you don't want her to think you only want her for one thing! Quick, try to throw her off the scent! (Translation - how to epic fail the shit test and frighten her away.)

You: Um, I dunno... like, maybe watch a movie or something... just to chill out and relax.
Her: Yeah, I'm fine here thanks... it's still early anyway.

That's a real example. Her exact words. I was with a friend, he was talking to this girl for a while and she went to the toilet so I swooped in to help him out. He really wanted to take her home so I told him what to do - he did the first bit fine then the shit test came and he got scared, and tried to throw her off the scent. With that. Big mistake. I mean, she was smiling when she asked what they'd be doing and he still got scared. The message she got from that was, this guy doesn't usually bring girls home and is gonna be nervous later on if she goes with him. And you know something? She was right. That's exactly why girls test us. She wants to know if we're the real deal or if we're easily scared off and aren't able to handle her.

Hiding your intentions makes you look insecure and that = bad shit. Most guys at this point will try and reason with her and try to talk her into coming with them. That's mistake #2. What they don't seem to get is that she's made up her mind, and even if they change their approach to something far better (see below) it won't work because it would come off as incongruent. A trick. Girls don't want to be tricked. Think of it this way, you wouldn't be trying to talk her into doing something if you knew she wanted to, would you? If you did, it would make her unsure about wether she really wanted to or not. Therefore, assume the best and go with that. So, by assuming that she wants to come home with you, there is no need to beat around the bush or hide your intentions. Let's look at what happens when she asks the same question to a guy with a strong frame:

You: I'll let you think about that on the way there.
Her: Take me, big balls.

Alright, it's not that simple. You beat the test though, so you're now on your way to actually getting what you want. Girls will string a bunch of tests together in a row to see how persistent you are. It's to test your confidence, and to see if your balls are real or if you're putting on a little show. If a girl in a club asks why you want to take her home, you can blatantly tell her that it's because you really want to make her night and there's only one way you know how. It's worth noting that the more up front you are, the longer she will test you for. Just realise this - as long as she tests you, she's showing interest. Internalise that, and it will drive you to keep going until she gives in.

Shit tests are not a challenge. They're fun. It's a kind of flirting. As a matter of fact, I enjoy them so much it's one of the main reasons I do this. I love a challenge when I know I can beat it. I went to the same club the week after the events detailed in the example, about 11.30, saw a girl standing by herself and asked her how she was doing. She looked at me like I just landed on a spaceship and, in a really bitchy tone, asked "Didn't you just get here? You didn't just come here by yourself, did you?". Ouch! I bet that scared the shit out of the rest of the guys who approached her up until then. But that's the whole idea of shit tests... to weed out the guys who can't handle them. Just hang in there. Never walk away. If you're going to be defeated, stay right where you are and let her walk away first. That way, it's her loss.

Out of interest, what was your reply to the girl at the end of your story? Can see the obvious line- that she definitely noticed your entrance and you'd only just arrived. "You look bored, were you waiting their all evening for me to show up?" etc??

Actually, nothing at all like that. My policy is, a girl can't manipulate you if you agree with what she says. On that note, I told her she was exactly right, that I had no friends and that I went there to find some. That got a laugh out of her, to my surprise, so I told her I hadn't really thought it through because I couldn't get to know anyone properly with all that loud music. She said that was too bad, and I said "Yep, I guess I'll just have to take you somewhere quieter instead". So she started asking where and what we'd be doing etc, but I didn't take any of her little tests seriously. Mainly because we were waiting for a taxi by that stage. I even got the dreaded, "I never do anything like this, I should really go back inside". That's a scary one. For the record, if a girl says this, tell her that's exactly why you chose her - you want to make her night and you know she'll appreciate it better than some girl who does it every week. Deal sealed.

Cheers Dalziel thats explained it really well. I read about them in the game but i still didnt understand them. Will keep an eye out for these Shit Tests next time im sarging.
