I've been blown out a few times for my age ( 18 ) but most of the time honesty goes through pretty well. Next time, however, I'm going to try this: "Old enough to know what I'm doing and young enough to keep on going."

Just throw out a casual "Don't worry, I'm legal"

I use one of two lines.

One is sorta stolen from Styles: "Old enough to do it well, young enough to do it nonstop."

The other I used to game play. I tell them they guess right in three tries I buy them a drink and if not they buy me drink. No matter what they guess I always say it is wrong. When they ask to see my ID I use is as an opportunity to tease her like my little sister by pretending to give it to her then taking it away and making her jump through hoops like "You have to ask nicely."

And if I do lose, I always turn the drink into a drinking game that involves kissing the other person somewhere on the body (ie licking salt off the neck before taking a shot of tequila).

For older women, I have some specific answers I always use. It has worked well for me in the past.

HB: How old are you?
PUA: Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.
HB: Haha, I love that! But seriously, how old?
PUA: Guess. (I like just plain "guess" better than the "how old do I look" line. Just saying "guess" and leaning back give the PUA a lot of power and confidence.)
HB: I don't know. Just tell me.
PUA: Oh, I see what's going on here. You just want me to do all the work. Haha, nice try. I'm not that easy; you're going to have to work for it. Guess.
HB: 27
PUA: Wow!
HB: Did I get it?
PUA: Not at all. I'm 24.

Games are fun and the more hoops you can get them to jump through, the better.

Well what I always use is the

"How old do I look?"

your going to get different answers all the time,
from different chicks.
I've noticed that if you've attracted the girl,
she will not say the age you look,
but she's going to say the age she hopes you are.

I do this just to know where I stand...

They're all good, but one that I use has always been effective for me. If they are older than you and they say:

HB: 'how old are you?'
Me: '21'
HB: 'wow, you are too young for me' (or something similar to that)
Me: 'I'll give you a few a minutes to get used to the idea. When you do, come find me.'

Then start to walk away, maybe go the bar. Usually, they will follow you and stop you. Or, they will wait a bit and then come after you. Its the whole push-pull effect. You might be risk losing the set/target, but it works 90% of the time.
