I've been on this site before, gotten a ton of responses, and had a lot of girls open me. The big thing is, just like during offline game, keep opening. You can have one million failures, but it just takes one success to change it all around. The one thing I don't like about this site, and I was just thinking about it earlier today.... Seeing how it's a dating site, it's different than if you were to game a girl on myspace or facebook. She already has the power over you, she knows you're interested...otherwise why else would you have contacted her?? I've actually gotten meets from this site and had one girl chasing me like crazy because I truly wasn't interested in her, the most success I've gotten has been from has been negging a girl on her profile, using smileys to show i'm joking, a lot of Lol's to convey a playful, happy persona, and doing a lot of push pull. I signed up for this site last night and, for me, it's *entirely* Neil Strauss-inspired.
Could you guys review my profile? Like every other member of the community I've met, I'm a nice guy and a part of me feels like I might sound too hardcore. But.. I more or less ripped the idea for my profile from Styles' MySpace page. On the other hand, this attitude seems to be working for me in 'real life'. I got the title idea from Mystery.

You have been misinformed. Most women like me, do not only contact the hotest men on the POF dating site. I contact men with funny or interesting profiles. I like men who express higher value, even in their profiles. Men who only have a couple of sentences, bore me. Taking goofy pictures is a plus as well. That is the way to get more attention. well man i have sent alot of messages,im not sure i have sent out but i counted what i sent out today and it was 15 and 9 have responded 2 read and deleted but got one to right me after i did my line for that lol...the others havnt been online yet to read...all i can say is when i get online i have a new hb waiting in my inbox...im just a very complimentive person so i find things to compliment with out saying the obvious...my profile in its self has been a good attention getter my about me is very different,my first date section is funny shit but i agree your profile has to be interesting to get responses...

I disagree. I would more say its a combo of the both. I had girls read and delete messages I sent them and they did not even look at my profile (this assuming they did not turn off the "make me invisible" function).
To a certain degree it does. I sometimes get responses from girls I simply put in my favorites on POF. Most of that has to do with the fact that the girl I put in my favorites is 5'10"+ and I am 6'6" so my height basically does it for me there. But besides that I am every working on my profile to make it better. My current one kinda sucks tho but I am working on a newer one that is a bit more cocky and add some DHV in it.
