So this is my situation. There is this girl in my class (im 17) she is HB7 based on looks, but she has a great personality.
I'm quite in to her. I don't know if she's in to me, but I did get one big IOI if I read it right, we were at a club and I saw her standing with her best friend and the best friend made a gesture to the HB like saying ''here he is, here's your chance''. But I also saw HB having a pretty long convo with her ex that same night.

Okay but I have her number ( got it off a site like myspace; is it okay to use her number after getting it like this, without comeing off as a stalker?) I need advice on my texting game, how should I open. I was thingking of something like, ''Guess who'' since I'm pretty sure she doesn't have my number. And if she says ''Well who'' or something like that i think cocky & funny is the way to go, tips??

One problem is that she is ALWAYS with her best friend at school and my best friend f'ed up baaadly with her best friend. ( they almost had something together, but it all went south from there, I'm still cool with her best freind tho)

is this a IOD?? or did it go alright?

I'm certainly no expert (as of yet ) but I think you should wait a while before texting/calling her, let her forget about giving you her number.

Otherwise it will be pretty obvious why you asked for her digits and then gave no reason.

Yeah it was a stupid anwser from my part, I should have said: So I can stalk you all day and annoy you during class.
Failed a shit test..... I kinda freaked when she asked, didn't expect it.

But what would you have said to: Why do you need my number?

I would have joked: "who? what? when? where? why? how? Is this an essay?"

It's hard to convey a joke online though, use lots of LOLZ

This has to be a thing that happens a lot in the field(why do you need my number? / why should I give you my number?) Anyone else??

You didn't fail the ST. You didn't fluster or stumble at all, you remained unaffected and just glided through it, you dealt with it in a textbook fashion.

Hell, I don't even think that was a shit test. It wasn't negative at all.

Some of you guys here need to realise that not everything unplanned that girls say is a shit test. Sometimes people are curious and sometmes they have a personality which, causes them too say things that the other girl didn't.
