HB stands for hot Hot Babe right? (If not then ignore this whole post). So if you say HB1 which is what would be described as an ugly girl, surely the HB shouldn't come before it. That's like saying 'Hot babe who is ugly'. Doesn't make any sence. The same goes for anything really under around HB5 as a 5 is kinda average right? HB1 should be the aquivalent of HB5 and anything under HB5 should be 'NHB' (Not a Hot Babe). So NHB1 would mean an ugly girl and HB5 would mean borderline between being hot and being on the not so hot scale, like maybe she's only hot when she's done up with make-up etc.
Maybe it should even go NHB 1-5, then AG (Average Girl) 1-5, then HB 1-5.
Just a thought. Unless I've got the whole HB princible completely wrong.

you do understand what hb stands for, and yes... what you are thinking about the hb1-5 also makes sense and yes in theory we should not refer to 1-5 as hb's. BUT the thing is that we don't use 1-5 very often, we as a group really don't talk about 1-5 and really only work in the 6-10 area anyways with only a few of our stories refering to 5(at the lowest) which is usually a mother hen friend or something along those lines

Mystery says you don't even refer to women as HBs if they go below the 6 mark.

i believed it's better to rather now rate women as number, first off it's kind of a silly concept and secondly it's really degrading

what you need to know is weather you're attracted to her or not, it's simply as that and beside you're attraction of a girl differ from other

What is an HB8 in your eyes may be different to an HB8 in someone else's eyes, the only reason this has become so widely used is because it is used in the MM. There are no rules saying you have to use this naming method though.

i think your over thinking our use of the rating system, i use it as reference so that when i tell stories the ppl who listen can guage what i was going up against

I've heared people refering to a UB3-4-5 Which stands for Ugly Baby 3-4-5

I never mention anything below a 5. Also I feel there is some confusion as to what exactly constitutes say, a hb9, compared to a 10 or even an 11. How the girl makes you FEEL is just as important as her looks imo, in regards to the rating. That is why I rank my disastrous two-itis as an 11 (the brunette one) and as a 9 (the blonde one) when in reality neither of them is better looking than a good 8 at best.

6-8 = B for babe

8-10 = HB for hot babe

10+ = SHB for super hot babe
