Well I'm really good at this poetry thing, I've even had three incidences where the person reading was brought to tears. My brother says its a total DHV but I think its kind of feminine. So what do you guys think?

You're partially right on this! I wouldn't call poetry a DHV per se however women are attracted to men primarily on how the man can make them feel. Also it shows a woman that you're not trying to act all tough and macho. A guy who can read poetry well can make a woman feel powerful emotions of attraction and because he is the one reading the poem she naturally attaches all of the emotions she feels to him.

Way too many Mystery Method students are concerned with every little move being perfect and the simple fact is it doesn't need to be. Doing things like poetry show a woman some vulnerability and also show that you're not trying to compensate for emotional issues by trying to be too perfect or too macho and not be yourself.

It also shows that you don't let other people or society tell you how to behave and you're confortable with yourself regardless of what other people think.

I would generally agree with the above, with the caveat that of course the bar or nightclub or something is not the place to bust out poetry, because it CAN come off in the wrong way sometimes. Careful how you work it in, but yeah, big DHV if you're good at it and it's used right.

I agree with Pepé Le Pew; if you sit in a bar or loud club reading sonets you're going to look like an idiot because the SPAM and energy are just too contrasting from the energy and emotion of something like poetry and the two will never mix successfully.
