I am new to Pick Up and am a recovering AFC. Here are three openers that I think might work.

The first one you act like you know them by asking a question about their class, week, job, whatever.

Jonas: Hey, what's up, so how you do in philosophy last semester?

HB: What? Do I know you?

Jonas: You're (insert name) Jenny Abler, right?

HB: I think you have me confused.

Jonas: I'm sorry you look alot like her.

-Don't know where to go from here-any suggestions?

The key is to do the best foreign accent as possible. My best sounds like a mix between Borat and a convenient store owner.

Jonas: Excuse me, do you date sexy white man with foreign accent?

HB: Yes- If she says yes, then say "I guess I must keep up accent very long time then, no?"
HB: No- Just go into regular speech with "Thanks goodness, I thought I was going to have to keep that up."

The key is when you are doing the accent you must look stupid and innocent, not like a sleezy perv.

Another variation if you have the guts-
Jonas: (Strong accent) Do you date sexy white man with large penis?

You must act like this is acceptable to you, or it will seem like sexual harassment.

#3-This one is not mine, read it somewhere, can't remember.

Jonas: Excuse me, I'm taking a survey for my sociology class and, it will only take a sec, I was wondering if you could answer 7 quick questions?

HB:Sure

Jonas: Read (must have a sheet of paper) off 5 questions that seem legit the more serious the better. On the 6th say " Do penguins have knees?- This is to get her laughing. Then on the 7th say -Do you give out your phone # to sexy, emotionally available, sensitive yet rugged sociology students?

Tell me what you think and any suggestions or ways to DHV would be great. These are not field tested, but will be soon. Also I was lost thinking about moving target openers, but I think you could use these on moving targets.

#1 I don't really like as you've confused them before anything else has been said. That will more than likely put her on the back foot and make things difficult to recover from. It's also difficult to transition. On the positive side of this if you're approaching as though you know her then it's going to reek of confidence.

Maybe "you look a lot like her... however I do sit behind her, so..."

#2 is a pick up line and AFC but it is kinda funny (don't mention your penis on approach unless you want to make things difficult for yourself).

#3 If you have difficulty with AA then I like this, because you can control the situation, but break off from interrogation mode ASAP. The potential downside of this is that you give them an opportunity to say no. If I'm legitimiately approached in this regard I apologise and say no to anybody I don't have a physical attraction to.

I like number 1 and 3, I feel these could be built on very easily later on in the conversation, but I am not a fan of the second, just a personal preference though, I am sure that others may like the second.

You could get shot down asking for a number in any situation. Do you think that these don't build enough attraction before the # is asked for?

I don't like the two last ones.

#2b is either going to make them laugh or make them not talk to you, not worth the risk.

And the survey one is giving them a chance to say no. Maybe change it up to say "I need you to answer..." instead of "could you please?"

Personally i would'nt use any of them, but im lazy and like to cut the shit.

1. would work better if you said after 'oh i got you mixed up with someone else, whats your name?'

2. sounds like a chat up line. May work & get a laugh if you got IOIs first & used in daygame (not in street), could open well, try it.

3. Is the best of them, only good for some enviroments though, should get laughs, but seems like alot of effort, and ditch the phone # question, you're the prize and # closing in A1 aint right.

the first one will work pretty well, but its a bit standard.
the second one is risky and most likely wont work and if you say the line about your penis you risk a chance of getting a bitch slap.
the 3th one i prefer the most. this one will most likely work almost every were during day time. ill try that one out some time thanks for posting it
