I just cant get rid of the fact that the "mystery method" has been taloried for mystery himself. Its what works for him. Why are we trying to force it upon ourselves. Ive read some material watched a dvd or two. Some solid content.

But this may not work for everyone picking up women is not "one size fits all". Theres allot of variables.

So surely the best way to go about picking up women is just to practise practise and practise? until you develop your own game/own method not one thats fitted around someone else.

This may come across slightly hypocritical because I have been using the mystery method for abit. But now I just prefer trial and error.

so basically the gurus have done all the hard work for us or what are you trying to say?...we need to be more dedicated?

Basically we should use these method as foundation and build the house ourselves?

What Hobbit says is true, but you can still develop your own style based on what works for you. Personally, I tried the Mystery method and had success with it, but because of my personality I felt like I wasn't being true to myself so I decided to study different methods which were more "my" style. I've always spoken my mind and I'm a strong person in that I don't do what others around me do unless I genuinely want to, and I live by my own rules... which means that I won't back down or apologise for saying something just because the rules set out by society say I should. The Mystery method worked for me, but I didn't feel like I was being myself because I was too busy trying to think about what to say rather than just saying whatever I wanted and dealing with her comebacks.

I had a look around and studied direct approach material by David X, Gunwitch and the Mode One principles and because of the philosophies and ideas from the M3 model being in the back of my head at the same time as practicing approaches like this it worked exceptionally well for me.

Nobody agrees 100% with every part of the method they use. Have a look around, find the methods which appeal the most to you and mix together everything which really hits home with you and everything you can relate to. It's important that the overall method you use fits your personality well and you're completely comfortable using it. What I do is by no means my own method, and I would never claim it to be, but it's not exactly the same as what everyone else does so that makes me happy.

Find out what works for u and then find out WHY it works and then build up techniques and routines to feed into that.

The work has already been done to a good degree as to why stuff works. Like why does a freeze out work or a neg its because women want a challenge.

In essance u can break almost all of the techniques into 3 core components of desire on a womans part.

1.) Confidence
2.) Challenge
3.) Self-control

Everyone asks waht do women want and through my research and experience and field work and relationships this is what I feel women want and believe it to be so.

Now build up techniques which work on each of those levels. For example the concept of cocky-funny came from confidence. Now either it was developed because people either 1.) Noticed that it worked in the field and built on it and praticed it or 2.) Understood women liked confidence and began to act that way to test it out.

Regardless it has been learned to be a great tool in the process of picking up girls.

You can go about creating whatever technique u wish and writting here about it and u might even come up with some new techniques that work but for now the leading theories and methods are that way for a reason. Also in the field u cna use whichever method u desire.

I use a combo of MM and natural. I never had a huge problem with picking up girls, more of a problem of keeping them which led me to this forum for its techniques work throughout a relationship as well although initially intended to just meet and attract women.

U need to find what works best for u and what u feel comfortable doing and feel free to add to it. For example I don't feel comfortable peacocking and I see no reason one would need to to pick up a chick when regular dressed people with good game pick up hot chicks all the time.

I Agree with this, if we stick to 1 rigid method we are not truely being ourselves and we should work to create our own methods.

But on the other hand the leading methods are there for a reason they have been tried and tested over and over and proved that they work, therefore when you try to use your own method and idea out in the field it is allways best to keep in mind these other techniques and fit them into your game.

Maybe even look at several differant methods and apply differant bits of each to your game, for example when im out sarging i use a combination of Mystery Method, Cocky Funny, and some of Style's work, and have found this to work very well for me.

Snowblow i recommend you try the same, look though some allready written and proven material and use this as the core for your game add in whatever you feel applies to you, even add in some of your own stuff more and more gradually and see how it works with proven methods.

Basically what you said before, Again Invincible that is just one idea which obviously doesnt apply to your game very well or you dont believe suits your personallity, just like Dalziel said that MM worked for him but he decided against it because it didnt suit him aswell as his new method does.

Just play around with differant ideas and techniques and you will soon find something which works well for you and that your comfortable using
