i'm about 330 pounds (some muscle, i do lift weights) and i've been fat my whole life. i didn't even kiss a girl until i was 18 and living on my own until i felt good enough to talk to a girl... but now i live back at home (money...) and have gained even more weight.

my question is for the guys who (like me) don't have the washboard abs and how their body affects their game. is it still possible to get an hb 7, 8, 9, or 10 and still be fat? i'm in the process of getting in shape but it takes time.

i've always liked hb 6-10's even though the only girls attracted to me would be about 2-4ish... so it's been a lonely life for me. but that is before i discovered PUA.

Mystery always says that a man's S&R in the mind of women out weigh well, their weight, ha ha. so i was wondering how any other guys have dealt with.

I've been told that David X is pretty awesome and is fat. So I assume so.

In any case though, get your weight problem taken care of. Also, send me a PM if you have any questions. I have been certified as a personal trainer through on of the more prestigious orgs (NSCA), so I can help in structuring a nutrition or exercise program.

Please take this as it is meant.... constructively. Start losing the weight. I am going to guess that the time you spend in the gym is spent power lifting and trying to gain strength. A minor shift in your workout goals and diet will yield shocking results. Cardio. Cardio. Cardio. But, not even that... Small changes can too make a difference, such as, only drinking water, parking in the back of parking lots, or not eating before bed (this is especially tricky for me). You do not need to be supermodel-gorgeous, but you need to carry yourself with super-heroish self-confidence. That is what girls are attracted to. When I first found this stuff, I was 40-60 lbs heavier than I am today. Starting to like myself was the first step in having other people like me. In addition to helping your confidence, losing the weight is healthy. I feel people who are looking for a happier life, that is what we are all looking for isn't it, have everything to gain from losing extra pounds.

80% of your body composition changes will be due to diet changes, not "more cardio". While it is good to be active, and I recommend walking frequently, a poorly structured aerobic exercise program can frequently do more harm than good as it causes muscle to be catabolized along with the fat.

This is a bad idea. Not eating before bed is very hard on your body (as you are going without food for over eight hours). You want to be losing bodyfat, not weight in general. Muscle is more metabolically active (thus burning more calories at rest) and looks good. Why would you want to get rid of it?

The trick is to eat the right things before bed--a lot glycemic carbohydrate, some lean protein, or healthy fats would be ideal as it would cause a slow, gradual release of insulin throughout the night and keep the body sufficiently fueled.

That said, simple is better. You don't have to be an obsessive calories counter to have big changes. I think that the simplest and most straightforward set of ideas was put forward by John Berardi in his "7 Habits of Highly Effective Nutritional Programs".

So what about calories, or macronutrient ratios, or any number of other things that I’ve covered in other articles? The short answer is that if you aren’t already practicing the above-mentioned habits, and by practicing them I mean putting them to use over 90% of the time (i.e., no more than 4 meals out of an average 42 meals per week violate any of those rules), everything else is pretty pointless.

Moreover, many people can achieve the health and the body composition they desire using the 7 habits alone. No kidding! In fact, with some of my clients I spend the first few months just supervising their adherence to these 7 rules—an effective but costly way to learn them.

Yeah he's pretty big, but I think he's been married for the better part of the last 10 years so we don't know what he looked like before he tied the knot. That being said, he could definately still pull it off nowadays because of the way he carries himself and the way that he speaks. His direct and unapolagetic approach is what gets him women, not his looks.

Weight really doesn't have anything to do with it. The reason you don't see bigger guys with hot girls is because they don't have the confidence to approach them, not because they approach and get rejected. As a matter of fact, I can tell you from the people that I've met over the years that most of those couples out there who are both really good looking met by chance, or through mutual friends. A hell of a lot of those really good looking guys still have zero confidence and can't approach girls, and stick to meeting girls who already exist in their social circle or work environment. They rely on luck a lot aswell. If you're a confident person, you know who you are and you're happy with the person you see, you will carry yourself in a way that is much more attractive than anything those prettyboy types have to offer.

wow guys, thanks for all the advice.

i definitely gotta start eating healthier, but i do get a lot of walking and all that in cause i don't have a car, but if i eat healthier than i'll be doing better, thanks fiction.

and it hasn't been easy having an older brother that looks like brad pitt/super -man-model. but dalziel, you're right about it being attitude, my bro who's never had trouble with women, admits to me that i've got more personality than him. and i told him, well people admire you for doing nothing, of course you wouldn't have much personality. that's usually the problem with really attractive people is that they are so admired by others that they have to simply do nothing to be held in such a high position. but i had to earn it, and hb 9's and 10's, you make them think that they have to earn your attention! i love it!

on a side note too, i didn't post this for any pity party or nothing, just to see if there were the fat pua's out there. but thanks for all the advice guys, it's really been great!

What do you consider fat?...lol I"m about 25% body fat, and I have no issues.


However, I did go from this. (350lbs)

It's all in what you say dude. It's good to have an image that associates with how you're talking, but you can do that no matter how chubby you are.

Thanks! I've always had muscle and size. I got fat from depression and injury and it has taken me a lot of work to get this far and I still have a good ways to go.

don't worry i used to have this HUGE fat freind who had girls all over him. In fact when he was around, at first girls completely ignored me, unless they spend some time with both of us. (after a while he comes of as arrogant, but as for initial attraction he just had it down) But you NEED to make sure your personality and confidence is as big as you are.

Love John, what you said rang so true with me, even down to the great looking older brother who never had any trouble with girls. I've been fat all my life and was actually about to post a topic very similar to you, wondering if there were any guys out there at the pinacle of their game who struggle with their weight. by the end of high school when i was 18 i weighed about 260 kgs (approx 573lbs) girls wouldn't even look at me, (who could blame them) i was the big friendly guy who was the life of the party, had all the confidence in the world, but hated his life because he could only ever had "girl"-friends and not girlfriends.

A little over 3 years later i still have a long way to go on my weight loss "journey" but i'm getting there... anyway i still haven't had a girlfriend but i have banged a hot 30 yr old mum of 3 (HB 7.5) and a couple of others. But yes i do find it hard with women being overweight... you can have as much confidence and skill as any PUA but the simple fact is... girls just can't see themselves with a really fat guy... it might be that fact that subconsciously or primitively they know they aren't healthy? i'm not sure. However saying that, i'm just brand new to the game (read the book about 2 years ago, just recently found these forums and bought MM) so after a few months of practising i'll be letting you all know how i go. Anyway enough chat from me... heres some pics of me before and after. btw, right now i'm at about 160kgs (352lbs)

Yea losing fat is a simple but yet complex process. I'm sort of an aspiring bodybuilder and right now I'm trying to cut and look good for the fall. What you need is a good diet, you need to find out your numbers first, like your maintinence caloric intake. There are calculators for that online and stuff. Don't do cardio all week, 3 times a week doing 45 mins of walking is sufficient enough. Start taking branch amino acids also, as they extend your metobolic process which keeps you burning fat while not doing anything.
