Whats up. I've been sucking in as much free info as I can. I did buy David DeAngelo's ebook and have read the Game. Going into junior year in high school, I am so frickin excited. What I know about attraction is so far beyond the rest of my grade already, not to mention the rest of my school. I'm gonna see what works, and how it works inside school. Can you imagine how its gonna work? Its going to be interesting. My question: What are the best gaming techniques true PUA's have thought (I'm sure you guys have reflected on this) would have been gold back in high school?

1 thing I must say...
If you're going to game chicks at your highschool, don't do it to all the HB's.. because 1 thing you'll learn with pick-up is that YOU WILL FAIL! and thats the process of learning. Now nothing wrong with failing, but failing to a popular chick in highschool will mean rumours will spread etc. and also you will have to see that girl & her friends all the time because highschool is a microcosm to the world... you'll end up knowing everyone there or in your year atleast. Whereas when you get out of highschool you'll meet people everyday and if you fail, it wont matter because you will probably not see them ever again.

Last year (while in HS), I would just practice some NLP routines on my friends, and around girls, just talk. I was a lot of CF, and some things that I had field tested and knew worked.

Examples:

I would use openers that had DHV spikes.
I ran NLP on my friends, who then spread the word that it was cool.
I maintained a CF persona around some of the HBs
Very, VERY few negs

Things not to do:

Direct Game! Especially if it is unlike you.
Do not over neg. Only one or two MAX!
You have to worry about what the girls say about you. This is the bad part of HS. People do talk about oyu. In field, you will always find girls who don't know you; so if you crash and burnm nothing bad comes of it. In HS word spreads!

yeah man that stuff sucks i'm in high school and i wanted to do so much pick up after i found out what i was but i had to control my ugre to use pick up my advice is don't try to pick up too much just mantain frame control and alphamale status

High school. Sigh. You're too young to worry about pick-up just yet. Have a couple of bad relationships, first. Get some experience under your belt. I'm not saying that pick-up's an old man's game or anything, but you definitely have to have a couple of hard knocks before going into it. If nothing else, it requires a level of maturity to keep these kinds of skills in check. I'm glad I didn't know about the scene in high school, or I'm certain I'd be a pretty fucked up individual by now. Hell, with what few skills I had back then, I ended up a pretty fucked up individual...
