Location: Fullerton, Ca
As I work nights, sometimes I go to a grocery store to eat if I don't work out immediately after work. One cashier there has been friendly with me for a while, but I recently got a definite IOI. the problem is, she's usually bogged down with a long line of impatient customers at night, so I can't just talk to her and get to know her better.

Is there a way I can quickly give a signal to her that I am also interested in her and not hold up the line? Also, what would be a good date for two people who don't get off from work until 12:00am - 1:30am?

If she always has a long line then I would just go in there a few times and build attraction and comfort that way. Just becareful that you don't make it too obvious what you're doing.

As for a date, what about going to a diner? You could always just get her number and then call her to set up a day 2 when you two aren't working. That will expand your options.

Tbh i think thats the only way you can do it, while your in the shop you could try a few compliments and judging on her reaction decide whether to leave your number or not.

Just remember its always better to get her number. There's always the chance that she won't call. Atleast if you have her number you know you will make contact. Just something to think about.

True true, but writing down a number doesn't take long so it wouldn't really hold up the line. Or she could just tell him it as he writes it down. Just a thought. I suppose if you find a way to get her really invested in you then she would want to call, but I wouldn't know how to go about that with the little time that you have seeing her.

Just remember that the chances of her wanting to speak out her number with a line of people behind you are low, she doesn't want every other guy there writing it down too. Find out when she finishes her shift, if it isn't too late after you then make sure you go in just before she does, then you will be one of the last people she serves, with less of a chance of a line building up behind.
