So i was at a carnival with my friend and we met a bunch of girls in line and ended up hanging out with them fo ra few hours. pretty succesful so i had to get home so we got their numbers and left. well i txted one of hem that night for a little bit then went to bed or something. i was wondering how long it should be before i txt them next?

i dont want to come off too needy or get them to forget about me

Don't text them, call! It depends on how good your connection was, the better the connection, the longer you CAN wait, but generally speaking 1-3 days is good.

Wait till late mid-week. Wednesday/Thursday. (unless ofcourse you met them on tuesday then you would wait for next wednesday/thursday)

Reason? : Try build connection for a link up on the weekend (if you liked the girl)
