I hear very little talk about these powerful things called standards that I just had to write a thread about em. First off, let me start with why I recently increased my standards to a pretty large extent.

Basically, a few months ago I slept with a psycho bitch who wanted to have a serious relationship with me, was obsessed with me and would text all the time. I basically did a major freeze out on her after sex and wouldnt talk to her and she started saying she was pregnant and all that crazy shit.

It was a real eye opener for me. After that experience I told myself that I will never settle for anything less than the best women. I have become very picky and woman pick up on it like crazy. The number of girls that are attracted to me has gone up significantly and I get body language IOI's very frequently. Woman dont wont some loser who will take anything he can get. They want a man thats hard to get and when your not pretending to have standards and actually do have high standards it is much more real and powerful and they can sniff it out.

Having high standards has done more for me than any other technique or mindset has come close to doing. I dont get nervous at all around woman anymore. Its awesome. Why not? Cause I dont care what they think of me, I just wanna get to know them to see if they are my type, not just get laid real quick and move on to the next one.

I am currently talking to a very picky almost unattainable girl who is georgous and has only been with one man in her entire life. I didnt like her personality though and so I would break rapport with her and ignore her when she was hanging out with me and some friends because I was disinterested. She picked up on that and is obviously very attracted to me. 99% of all guys act lrediculous around her. I still havent shown any interest in her after shes been showing it towards me for about a week now and she still hasnt lost any attraction. Its gone up actually. I think I ignore her a bit much though. Just being myself though.

To the original poster, I feel ya man. When you have higher standards women definitely notice. I am in the process of increasing my standards dramatically and its working very well so far. I hope that my mindset can bring me to where you are going.

An important observation that I made tonight after speaking with my brother: Tonight he went out and there was a hb8 and she showed all the IOIs and everything and they were dancing. He said he could have easily K-closed right there on the dance floor but he felt the same feeling as it would when people in high school made out by their lockers.

So I told him, "If you aren't willing to make out with a girl on the dance floor, that means that your social value is so much higher than hers that it is not worth it to you. If its not worth it to you to make out and be bold in front of everyone else then you can do better. Why not just befriend the girl and use her to get hotter girls."

Also, if it were a supermodel on the dance floor, would you even think twice about kissing her.
