When I first read it I immediately thought of your book and didn't even see it was your post haahah

I totally agree with it mystery relies on "fake it till you make it". But let's face it, it works. It's the fast way to get girls and it works.

But I have to say I'd never recommend it to anyone regarding the inner game issues. The mystery method is great when it comes to social dynamics, negging and creating comfort. But the whole canned stuff just doesn't fit me.

This just made me realise that I have actually built up a fake personality for myself and forgot what I was before, kinda cool actually

he does give you tons of canned material and at 1st, you'll be creating an image that is not the real you.

But Mystery does say that you should make up your own techniques based on your own life after you get how they work.

Once you get good at it though, you'll really start to not think in terms of canned material anymore. You'll open with legitimate questions or statements, you'll tell real stories, you'll naturally neg or tease and etc. You'll have fitted the method to your own personality.

Although it works and it is the quick and easy way to get girls attracted to you, the real benefit you get from practicing the techniques described in the Mystery Method is the social knowledge you gain from the experience. You'll have control and power over this area of your life. You wont just get girls to like you by chance, but you'll actually be able to spark attraction and continue it into a relationship whenever you want.
You'll know exactly what to do, and with that competence, you'll have confidence, and be congruent with everything you say and do.

For me, that was the real learning i got from getting into the PUA world.

I have to agree with biofire. Ofcourse, when you're just starting out and use all of the canned material it will be hard to keep the woman for a longer time, because you faked it all. However, when you've done so much it becomes you and that is where you 'make it'

Allow me to disagree,

There have been so many discussions about if this is real or not... I too have started out with a fake personality, an avatar and used canned material from Mystery... But that is just in the beginning. Fake it until you make it. The way I see it, I now have become the person I present when sarging. I use my own real material (most of the time) and whether the stories are real or not does not really matter. They are just used to convey a few points, preselection, leader of men, protector of loved ones. Thats it. The real lesson from learning the game is, how does attraction lead to a relationship? PUAs understand this (most of the time) and that is why there are several different methods which all work well.

Pairbonding requires (in this order)...
Woman looking for survival value (attract a male by looking healthy etc etc)
Man looking for replication (approach and attract a woman by showing social status).
Man demonstrating value - Woman demonstrating value.
Comfort building.
Woman testing mans willingness to stick around.

In this, there is no lying... She does not care if your job sucks or if your wallet is a bit thin. As long as you did not tell her your whole financial situation or that you are the president of the USA, you are safe.

Who are we, simply personalities based on our previous experiences? If yes... My friends, we are our avatars. The personalities we "fake" are just some sides of us that we choose to stress during the first interaction with that specific woman. Every single one of us have personalities with more aspects than can be discovered in several months. We simply decide in what order the women may discover them.

regarding the mystery method, i found the "fake it till you make it" good for me. all my DHV are real to me, and the CF came naturally after me when i realized i can manage to use it in my favor (get the idea?) anyway with my new GF (thanks mystery!! lol) i can do CF, neg her, etc, and feel comfortable doing it. but in privacy with intimacy i am much more relaxed with her, and i think she can see the contrast
