Of course. It's alot better than diving head first (or would it be lips first?) towards the kiss. In fact there's a whole bunch of organizations focused on spreading the word about asking "May I kiss you" to raise awareness about sexual harassment. Just google that line. 26 million hits.

But since this is the PUA forum there are ways to go about asking to avoid appearing AFCish. Generally they are defined as Kiss Closes. A search will point you in the right direction, but here's one to get you started:

Mystery's Kiss Close Gambit

Anytime during comfort stage, when you've already gotten attraction from her in the form of Indicators of Intrest (at least 3) and given her IOI's for qualities other than her looks, you can use this gambit. Cut her off midsentence, or throw it into an akward pause. It works either way

You: Stop (or just put a finger up) OPTIONAL
You: Would you like to kiss me

Now she can go three ways:

HB: Yes
You: Come here (and well you freakin kiss her already!)


HB: I don't know/Maybe/silence
You: Let's find out. Come here


HB: No
You: I didn't say you could. It just looked like you had something on your mind.

if you are going to ask her do it in a sexy or a cute way. that u no that she wont say no what i like to do is look into her eyes and tell her i really never looked at your eyes before and they are beautiful then you started touching her hair like pushing it out of her face or just start touching her in a sexy way then when you are looking into her eyes you TELL HER i am going to kiss you now in a cute voice.
