okay, so a couple of months ago i was working at my pool (im a lifeguard) and a cute girl (HB 8.5) came in. anyway she swam a bit and i gave her some critiques in her stroke work, and since then i've swam with her occasionally. just recently (last week) i told her i was running a program with a couple of my peeps and that she was invited to come swim with us. i gave her the date and my number so she could call with any questions

so she came in, and we got in a decent workout. through out the workout i tried to get her into group convos and she seemed a little cold and out of it, or maybe just shy, idk. she tells me she wont be in for a few days and i was like, shit, shes gonna flake.

later i was talking to the girls i swim with (other then HB 8.5) and they told me she legitimately had a band trip for a few days (yea, she plays the flute... lol)

anyway i was working today and she came into swim (with no idea about when my groups next meeting was) and she comes up and asks me if she can swim with us again, i was like okay.

anyway, she got in, and i gave her some more critiques, but i joked around with her about it (pretty lame jokes, but still) and she laughed, smiled, and giggles, so i was thinkin okay, shes warmin up

anyway, now i want to escalate things with her, (and maybe take her out, make her a GF, etc)

a few things that should be known. shes a junior in HS (in another HS then me) and im a senior in hs (like i said, a different hs)

what i want to know is.......... how can i get her to go out with me, and how can i find out she has a BF... HELP!!!!!!!!!!

a little update to my story... i was swimming with her today, and we were doing some kick sets (kicking with kickboards so we could talk) i did the 5 lies game (i won, and now she owes me a gatorade) i did the cube routine, and we started talking about restaurants and working at them etc (i just got a job at a restaurant so i kinda pushed that) anyway she was all like she doesn't like to eat at restaurants because she thinks all the kitchens are sketchy. so i was like my place is pretty clean, so i asked her out (implies we'd be going to the restaurant i'm working at) and now i'm worried about kino!!! HELP!!!!

i also got her laughing alot, basically warming up to me soooo YAY!

I used to be on swimteam. Tell her that breast stroke improves and tones the shape of womans breasts. Play it cool, dont creep out. But slightly risque conversation like that, if delivered confidently, will escalate the situation I promise. And as far as taking her out...dont at first. Just invite her to go with you to jamba juice after swimming. Get the Matcha Green TEa blast, it is superb.

I agree with dean, i think dinner as a first date is a bad idea.
You shold try and have a couple more small mini-date-meetings outside the pool before you go to dinner.
Do some fun stuff with her. Things like booster juice would work awesome after a swim.

lol, thanx guys... well we actually did go out, and it did work out.. so now she s my biatch (no offense to her) and i'm gonna have to focus on keeping things interesting and fun for a time being. oh and Dean, the breaststroke thing worked out great (i was laughing in my head when i said it)
