so i meet this girl 3 weeks ago, friend of a friend, blabla, we hooked up in a club (kissing).

So, in the last week, she has told me that she wanted to see the movie 21, but it was pulled out of the theaters already, and that comment got to me because i wanted to see it too, now it's too late.
I went to see a movie yesterday and saw 21 was actually still there.

Is it a good idea if i set up a 1st official date this way : i call her, tell her i'll bring her somewhere special but it's a secret, and she'll have to meet up with me before i lead her there. She'll also have to wear a cloth over her eyes to hide the secret on the way there.

And when we reach the entrance to the actual movie room, i tell her to pull the cloth off and she'll be standing right in front of the 21 movie poster.

Blindfold sounds lame and embarrassing for a public situation.

yeah it's outside most people's comfort zone, but i think it'll be good cause i'll be able to lead her and show that I'm comfortable with strangers looking at us all the while she has her emotions stirred up.

+ it'll show that i listen and care about her in a non needy way, and that will build a lot of trust and comfort. What do you think?

take her to a pet shop, and then tell her that you two have to pretend to be married and are seriously debating buying a puppy.
When stores think you are serious about buying one they let them all out and you can touch and play with them.
Plus is has benefits for a first date:
1)You have the inside joke going that you both know you are just there to play, and so any time you make eye contact, you will connect more. Plus its like a fun-little role play.
2)its a short date, which is good for the first date b/c long ones can be awkward if you dont know the person well.
3)She will remember it. Think of how many guys have took her to a movie. Now think of how many have taken her to a pet shop. eh?

the blind fold is over the top, especially for a movie, if you had something really special i could see it... not with a movie

I agree with previous poster, that movies is not a good choice for a first date, but then again it's not a terrible thing either, especially if you are doing something afterwards!
